we ordered two burgers who unfortunately failed our expectations, were drowned in the sauces that hid all the gooses and a sandwich was burned. we will return because the previous time were very good, balanced. the owner very kind and hospitable.

The friendliest restaurant we've found in Italy so far. Extensive menu choices of traditional dishes of course pizza! Fresh produce cooked to order. Good food, good wine, value for money, in an idilic village location and a warm welcome what more could you want? Highly recommended well worth a visit to this hidden Italian gem. We will be back! I don't think many American's make it to Sovere...but I am glad we passed through! We wanted to explore the villages outside of Lovere. As always, we were late for lunch (1:30) but Mario, the owner, welcome us with no problem. We ordered two pizzas, some grilled vegetables and a pasta pomodoro. Everything was very fresh and service was really great. The restaurant was clean and not too hot even though outside it was a major heatwave. So it was a pleasant surprise! Thank you to Mario for telling us all about Sovere and sharing a nice conversation.
