"I went to the vecchio forno restaurant on the first night of my arrival at chin in September 2016. the pleasant location, with view to the port, the restaurant mainly designed for the summer had a veranda covered on the sidewalk, and was the only restaurant in this neighborhood with a queue outside. So I'm in! I was warmly welcomed and as I speak Italian everything was easy and pleasant! I had "pece spade affumicato" smoked fish with rocket, a large plate, juicy fish very tasty. Then come the spaghetti with mushrooms, once again a huge portion, neither too cooked nor very al dente, excellent. the wine of the house was dissenting, the whole atmosphere was fun, a little too many people but I left with the idea of good honest food. I'll go back when I'm chin!"

Typical Italian restaurant.... friendly and professional staff. Very good food, my wife had shrimp gnocchi and I had mussels marinières and we enjoyed ourselves.... Varied menu and fair price... Recommended!

It's an excellent Italian chin restaurant. They make delicious Italian pizzas, generous servings, very good ice cream. service is efficient and its price is reasonable. it is open only in the evening and as it is popular, you have to book a table or you will have to wait. It's one of our favorite chin restaurants.

I chose this restaurant according to the opinions of tripadvisor. We were not disappointed. we were talking little French and our waitress spoke little English but everything went very well. We had clams and mussels, as well as pizza and a little red wine. We spent a fantastic moment and our waitress should get five stars. The food was excellent. Ver carta

Some of the best pizza i 've had. I have to highlight the calzone. A bit hard to describe, but the way it was steamed inside the dough gives it a very unique flavor, fresh and juicy. This applies to all of the pizzas, but the calzone amplifies this flavour. Not a very special atmosphere, however, simple and modern in the terrace. Would definitely come again

We ate pizzas to take away here several times in the last few years during our chin visit, so I can't talk to sit in the restaurant. pizzas are always super tasty and there are many options for fillings. the price is good, most seem to be from 9 to 12 €, which is a good value for money. recommended if you like pizza. In summer it's good to get out a pizza to take away and go sit on the beach to eat it!

"the location was attractive. a small picturesque square slightly in draw with a foliage and Mediterranean charm. the restaurant had an outdoor terrace but we decided to eat inside. rustic decoration well maintained. abundance of natural stones and plaster walls of rustic color, nice vaulted type ceiling and terracotta tile floor. We loved him. the kitchen was visible on the path of the toilet and everything seemed chief, busy and good omen. Unfortunately, it's the end of the good news. My wife chose to start with the anchovies leaf and I am the raw ham. The anchovie was not good. Very strange flavor. Too salty. hard dough background. My ham was cut too thick, making the meal difficult. I had to ask for olive oil and gem salt. certainly not the best ham I've had. no comparison with parma or iberico. disappointing. the main dishes were the fish pot and the spaghetti with ceps. Both were a disaster. The fish were cut off. filled with small but important bones. the two rather sad gambas were small and boiled to death. the portion of fish and the quality at the price were bad. Maybe the bisque was swept. The pasta was not good and we left them. we paid 72 euros for this and a very small glass of medium wine and a bottle of flat water. I think chin food is usually not good. French are rather complacent and seem to believe that their historical reputation is enough. Not if. the area is very frequented by tourists and I guess most are unlikely to return to the area, so they think they can get away with it. It's a shame and I couldn't recommend this restaurant. we visit the family regularly to chin, so we would like to find a decent restaurant at a reasonable price. even our family seems to have a bad time. Why? It's the france."
