"Me my wife previously visited this restaurant a few times last year so thought we would return to see if it was still as good as before. Although the staff were different, we can confirm that this place is still superb, so good in...fact that we visited three times within the same week. Liam looked after us on all our visits this week can confirm that his politeness, friendliness general all round service was superb, he was part of the reason we returned each time, well done thank you Liam. Me my wife shared many items drinks on the menu, all of which were absolutely outstanding reasonably priced, nothing detrimental to say whatsoever. The whole restaurant Hotel just has a really nice ambience to it, very clean well maintained along with quality fixtures fittings, we will definitely return on our next visit to Ramsgate."

a very interesting place to dinate, with magnificent sea view and interesting equipment, but in our view an unusual dinner menu.

We had a family lunch of delicious fish and chips with minty peas. The service is exceptional from reception through to waiting staff. The staff are warm and friendly and there is a laid back atmosphere. I highly recommend the fish and chips Ver carta

staff, short menu, well-designed dishes. added to the albion house hotel, this casual but smarte spot brings a safe hand to its bistro style offer. for me the onion was especially good with radishes and a cod with mushes and a crumb. everything I would say is adventurous and scattered beyond the fish and chips or steak and they will be rewarded.

We had breakfasts and evening meals while we stayed at Albion House. Enjoyed all of it thoroughly. Breakfast choice very good and provided gluten free toast. For evening meals we had buratta, beef cheek, fish and chips and pork belly Sunday roast. Pork belly is...my husbands favourite and he said it was one of the best he'd had. All the food was fantastic, as were the cocktails and wine. We hadn't booked Sunday evening but due to weather didn't want to go out and were so accommodating. Heartily recommend and will return.

we have booked the lounge area for the birthday party of our mother. the venue was excellent with fantastic views and a lot of space for children who do not feel restricted. the buffet, although a set menu flexible for those who were vegan. chicken and chips for the children, the picky foods were added. good selection of coffee tea and soft drinks. the staff was very friendly and helpful at any time. we had family from Great Britain and the Basque Country. everyone was very happy with the venue. we received a selection of music that was nice to have in the background. a great day! we came to a family birthday and needed somewhere that allowed dogs. the restaurant was really busy with many families, so I would recommend booking in advance. the lunch menu on Sunday had a lot of variety we ordered, pork, bark meat fish and chips. the food was excellent! delicious and the portion size was very generous. it is probably the best pork I have ever! we had teenage boys, but there were people with young children, so I would say that the restaurant is suitable for every age. it was very welcoming. service, eating and atmosphere were all very good. would definitely visit again.

despite the title of this contribution, we did not really stay in the newly opened albion house hotel, although we could spend a substantial part of the weekend. on Saturday we started with champagne afternoon tea and returned the next day for our Sunday dinner. the hotel, open for non-residents, is pretty, popped up on the east cliff of ramsgate. the building was converted into a luxury boutique hotel, it now connects regency pracht with many innovative modern designer touches courteousness I believe in fontaine decorative a local company, the amazing French furniture and decorative objects. the hotel is located in...read more

"Having been raised at the knees of Caribbean and African women, sometimes I’m just in need of some soul food. I’ve often gone past Mullins and seen that it is busy, and looks bright, clean, warm and friendly. And it is. The decor works really well. Low-key, warm and welcoming. Music is a soothing stream of lilting Caribbean classics. The waiting staff are lovely. So friendly. And the menu looks great. There isn’t too much of it, and it is quite hard to choose because it all sounds amazing. Price points are really good. But. The food is genuinely terrible. I went for a Creole fish stew. I don’t know how you can make a stew without flavour. When you are cooking things slowly and together, flavour infuses flavour. But not here. This was a good sized portion of piping hot well presented food. But my God it tasted awful. Basically chopped potato surrounded by small lumps of bland unidentifiable white fish, half a dozen mussels, some of which were still closed, and therefore inedible, and three flavourless prawns in shells. There was a pinch of Samphire on the top, and this was the sum total of the vegetables I could find. It came in what I can only describe as a thick red sauce. If there was tomato in it, there was no flavour to it. It was highly salty, and this was the dominant flavour throughout. The fish had no flavour of fish, and it was intensely spiced in a lip plumping way. Essentially, it was all heat and salt. With a slight tang of gents toilets. I suspect this was from the mussels. I did raise the blandness twice with the waiter, and the strange unpleasant toilet flavour. He said he would tell chef. And that was that. No feedback on the dreadful flavour other than that it was all fresh. I ate the entirety of the meal because I had travelled a long way and had not eaten. I saw it simply as fuel. It was not enjoyable. I paid and left. Mullins is so close to getting everything right, but a restaurant is its food. I’m not going back."
