Finally made it back to this restaurant after 34 years, now with the wife, she was my girlfriend the first time. Food and service both great. Sat outside in the sunshine.

A typical German restaurant with a delightful open air terrace. The food was hearty and very delicious. We had the boiled brisket with potatoes and a salad and the grilled salmon and sweet potato fries. Very enjoyable.

in the old mill building they have arranged a restaurant with a good choice of so there is something for almost every taste. the service is friendly and eating is good value for money. but one would have rusted and mandled in. the sauce awaits with an sour roast served in the Rhineland. Ver carta

we are here on a last trip to Bruges. the staff was really friendly and helpful, the location is excellent, right in the village center. there is a great menu and we chose the meat dishes and carving dishes. that was great. A...big place and a must if in the opposite thanks to a staff and cook!

Very friendly service, nice ambiance in a former watermill that is now transformed to a restaurant. Food is high quality (traditional German dishes in traditional German quality and excellent value. Average dish 15 euro (main). I have visited this restaurant many many times in the...past 20 years and was never disappointed!

we visited the old mill for the first time in maybe 10 years when I visited it very often, it is under new management and maybe with kovid 19 they try to save money, but the menu is much less than it was., initially I asked for fish, but they had only trout that was ok the opposite is famous for its trout, but what I got was the small fish that I had cooked in a long time. I'm here with a friend for lunch. we had hunger. the atmosphere is beautiful, very dark, low and cozy. the food was delicious, but nothing special. if they expect a court of the day in five curses, this is the wrong place. The service was quick and friendly, but also addicted to their handys that didn't make a good impression. I wouldn't go to a date here, but it was okay for lunch.

I came to this restaurante after read reviews and was disappointed somehow as no Schweinshaxe at all here. Menu is very small in options, maybe the haxe is seasonal only. Anyway, I asked for a schweinslandchen and a bad altbier, bolten is the beer name....The food was really nice, tasty. Ambiance is cozy and nice and staff is friendly. Beside disappointed with TripAdvisor reviews, I liked the place.

This was a return visit after some 35 years so we were expecting some changes but was pleasantly surprised how much remained the same. It’s set in a lovely location and offers outdoor and indoor seating. We chose indoor which is a typical German décor....We visited on a Tuesday so fairly quiet and service was good. Good choices on the menu and on this occasion I had the Schnitzel with Mushroom sauce whilst my partner had the mixed meat grill. Both were fine but a little salty. The excellent beer took care of that though. We took our last beer outside to enjoy the evening sunset and it was lovely and quiet. Maybe because we had memories of it this visit disappointed a little but that said its... Ver carta
