"A very nice restaurant inside a hotel in the town centre. The decor is very 70s but don't let this put you off as the food was great. Traditional German cuisine and a wide selection of meat, fish and also vegetarian dishes. There's also a large wine list (I highly recommend trying the blueberry wine! For 8€ you can also take a bottle home with you...) Most dishes come with the salad buffet where you can go up and help yourself to a large selection of salads. It's a popular place and was busy on the evening we went - however this was probably because everywhere else seemed to be closed on a Tuesday! Well worth a visit if you're in Bad Wildbad."

Great little restaurant with atmosphere. Meals reasonably priced with good service. As a side note, try the honey schnapps...it's really good!

Nice set up and friendly staff. Good broad menu, with traditional dishes and a few different choices. As well as a decent salad buffet. Well worth a visit if you're in town.

Good food, large portion, typical for Proper German restaurants. Service was nice, correct and fast. There are some places to sit outside, but not many. Large selection of dishes. Ver carta

One of the few places open in Bad Wildbad in early March, but fortunately is was a good choice. A very traditional black-forest restaurant in terms of decor and menu. The chef's recommendations of Ox cutlet and T-bone steak were amazing, great quality meat and unbelievable prices. The service was friendly and efficient too.

We just happened across this spot, but we're glad we did. Service was friendly and fast (and she brought us an English menu after she saw us struggling with the German one). Large portions, good beer, and a long schnapps menu-we definitely left full and happy. A nice traditional salad bar too, complete with the slaws and other pickled items you'd expect!

We went to Alte Linde for dinner one day and lunch two days later. Both meals were lovely. Steaks delicious! Especially the one on the dinner menu with carrot purée and mushrooms (a lot nicer than it sounds!). The staff don't speak much English and the decor is quite old fashioned but it all adds to the experience. Starters are generally the salad buffet: nothing special but nice to have your own choice. It's German home cooking: large portions, quality meat, charming owners, and an English menu about which they're extremely proud. Loyal local clientele. We dined here twice last week while based in Bad Wildbad for the Rossini festival. Perfectly cooked steaks, wonderful schnitzels, classic potatoes. Not much green! No desserts to speak of, apple studel with ice cream, big surprise. It's comfort food at a very good level.

Enjoyed this place so much we went back the second night but it was closed (Mondays). Typical German restaurant, lots of wood and dead things but a nice atmosphere. You order your main course, meat or fish with potatoes /chips and then help yourself to the salad bar. This is a German salad bar, don't expect Pizza Hut, it's mostly pickled salads but very nice. I had a huge piece of salmon with potatoes, simple but really well cooked. 1 x soup, 2 main courses and 2 drinks was €38 which was very reasonable.

"more skill and “more convenient” the grape could hardly lie: only 5m away, right opposite the beginning, lies the S-Bahn station “Uhlandplatz”. now some of you will be amazed: an S-Bahn station in the middle of a cure? yes, for several years you can travel with the s6 comfortably from pforzheim or carlsruhe to bad wild bath in the northern black forest. so convenient that it really is worth leaving the car. saves parking and sprit costs. the end station of the S-Bahn is the Kurpark! in bad wildbad seems to have stayed the time. at some places they feel relocated. or about centuries. the grape is something of it. the top of the room copied rocococococococo and empire furniture. in the “Green Salon” on the 1st century there is a great-bourgeois compassion from the first half of the 20th century: snuffed wood, heavy living beings, a small library, striped scratches and as green plants those sansevieria, which has probably already reached a human age. here they feel gentlely reminiscent of the early stays in their own childhood. in some corners has a bit more! in the ground floor of the grape is the Italian restaurant filippo on the left and right side of the breakfast room – possibly this was earlier under joint research. in which the threads still go together, I cannot say. during my visit in a very sunny april weekend I had a dozen other guests. most impressively I found the friendly, affluent, open service. the dedicated recipeis also pampered in the personal association as an breakfast service power and in the kitchen. she had covered the breakfast tables and the coffee / tee with a great care and attention. in the breakfast room they sit a bit stiff, but well maintained: immaculate, strengthened, pure white tablecloths, red serviettes and lots of light on the street side. who takes a table can even take a look at the flanning cure guests. hot drinks are brought to the table, the rest of the breakfast they get at the buffet, which is the half of the skillful, colorful deco and reflects a magnificent luxury. for me it was really more than sufficient: various chalk and fertilizer flakes and mice, dosenobst, roll, packaged portions of ankle bread and care, cheese and sausage in slices, packaged mami sections in different flavors, cooked eggs (fein beautiful plant soft and not orange juice, harden.) hot drinks can be ordered after. all that is not excellent, but beautiful and beautiful executed with love. an ideal place for older men or men hanging up to the retro ambiente. my mother would have broken here in worship! I would like to praise the skillful situation (only a few steps to the summer mountain railway! and the very friendly service, which on request also offers incentives for free time design."
