"Went to the Alverne for a lovely dinner. It did start off a bit rough with a terrible table that walked out without paying but the staff dealt with it very well considering. After that we got two starters which were both a hit and could not be faulted. Then two of our party had burgers which they remarked where excellent. My wife and I had the mushroom risotto with chicken which was amazing. She remarked it was the best risotto she has ever had and she often orders risottos. Overall a great meal, it wasn't cheap but we got what we paid for and would definatly go back."
