"A lovely menu with plenty of vegan and vegetarian dishes alongside a wide variety of meat and fish dishes. The main course had a tapas or standard option with plenty of starters and desserts to choose from. All the dishes were well presented with a great flavour combination. The waiter/waitresses were polite, accommodating and attentive and gave guests privacy and space The dining area and bathroom were extremely clean which added to the relaxing dining experience. The passion fruit martini wasn't overly sweet and didn't have a bitter alcoholic taste. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family, if they decided to travel to cornwall."

Lovely find. Service is friendly and fast. Food is exceptional. Salad was fresh and delicious, hummus was insanely good and my fiancé’s burger was super tasty, cooked to perfection. Can’t fault a thing. Loved it.

An amazing restaurant, we came twice in the 2 days we stayed in Penzance, and the food was amazing, coffee was devine and deserts, how deserts should be devastated and feel guilty, it was so good. I would definitely recommend you to visit this place and not experience it without this treat...

They offered a vegan menu which was delish. I had risotto with mushrooms and the other dish ordered was cauliflower garam masala curry, onion bhaji, basmati rice and mint raita. The wine was great and so was the dessert. The service was prompt and the staff friendly. Would definitely return again sometime.

Went to the Alverne for a lovely dinner. It did start off a bit rough with a terrible table that walked out without paying but the staff dealt with it very well considering. After that we got two starters which were both a hit and could not be faulted. Then two of our party had burgers which they remarked where excellent. My wife and I had the mushroom risotto with chicken which was amazing. She remarked it was the best risotto she has ever had and she often orders risottos. Overall a great meal, it wasn't cheap but we got what we paid for and would definatly go back.
