"We recently had a meal at The Anchor and could not fault it, the manager Vicky was lovely and very helpful, she recommended the fish Deli Board as a starter which was very nice, both our main courses were perfect as was the dessert/cheese board.Just the friendliness would make us want to return, Vicky and Mark have not been running it for very long but they certainly seen to have got things right ."

Really nice selection of food, best oxtail I've ever had wth celeriac mash. Good selection of wine at reasonable prices. Certainly worth a visit.

had a nice 4 days break at the anchor. tom and his team made us and our dog very welcome. clean, comfortable rooms and good food. would definitely stay back if in the opposite. Ver carta

the night on the way to st. ives. very pleasant- great atmosphere great service, good selection on the menu and nice selection of drinks. room was comfortable and spacious I would recommend it

My partner and I went with another couple. We loved it! The room and ensuite was lovely, staff were very friendly. Food was good (restaurant got a bit cold) but all really good, and we would definitely go back.

The Anchor is a traditional village pub that has updated itself for 21st century tastes in terms of food and decor. The food is very good, very reasonably priced and served in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Check out the guest ales. Ver carta

After a few ups and downs the Anchor is back on top form. Lovely food and great service from friendly staff and management. Very good value Sunday roast (cooked to perfection) and a choice of delightful desserts will definitely be returning

Stopped off here for a Sunday lunch about a month before and the food and service was that good we decided to book a night hereAgain food and service perfect, the food is very good restaurant food in a nice relaxing atmosphere The rooms are such good value for money with a good selection for breakfast both of very good quality Very dog friendly tooKeep up the good work
