Stressful and damn service, the pleasant atmosphere wasn’t gender-determined; the food was okay some dishes were better.

Nice restaurant but a bit pricey. Food very good but service mediocre. All I bit clean and clinical. Had much warmer welcome and better service elsewhere in Taormina

Excellent food, excellent chef, excellent staff. We felt like we were eating in someone's home. Truly deserving of their Michelin rating, if anything they should be rated higher. Ver carta

A very pleasant relaxing restaurant with a good varied menu; the beef was delicious and the apple strudel was the best I have ever had not surprising with an Austria as the owner/chef

The food was lovely. We had the pork and beef both dishes were extremely tasty. The desserts too were fantastic. The bread in the bread basket was warm as well always a good sign. We’d definitely go back.

The server asked me to add a MANDATORY 10% tips which is not even on the bill, he asked me to pay separately for the tips, I don’t see any other table doing this, even he wants tips, it should be an option, and he just asked: You want 10% tips on card or cash? Ver carta

We were absolutely amazed at the quality of the Italian dishes particularly as the chef was Austrian we could have eaten the aubergine and gnocchi pasta all over again it was so delicious with perfect balance of flavours ???? my husband was also blown away by his dish and hands down one of the best Italian meals we’ve had throughout Italy ????

The food and wine were absolutely great. The service also was faultless until we came to pay. We were already planning on leaving a good tip when the waiter suggested to us that if we had enjoyed the evening a cash tip was preferred. We felt mildly uncomfortable with the request for a tip and although we did leave what we planned to it just took the shine off the night

We had a 4 course menu combined with an optional wine tasting menu. The restaurant started us of with a amuse and some of the best bread we've ever been given. The dishes were presented beautifully and tasted superb. The paired wines complimented the food. The explanation with each wine and why it was paired to the dish added value to the experience. Compared to the prices in Taormina (we stayed here 10 days) they are not expensive. If you are in Taormina we recommend this restaurant. It is next to the park only 5 minutes down the stairs of the centre and worth the walk. Ver carta
