Angel Inn Llandeilo

It's disappointing that the restaurant has limited opening hours, but it's a wonderful pub. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. I would definitely recommend it!

This pub/restaurant was fantastic, but unfortunately it has become another victim of the Covid-19 pandemic. It doesn't seem like there is any chance of it reopening soon or in the foreseeable future.

The restaurant offers a diverse menu and a friendly atmosphere in an authentic pub setting. There are vegetarian options available as well as delicious Welsh lamb to choose from. Don't forget to try some of the local draft beers on offer.

I’m not local and was worried where to find a nice vibe with good food. This would best a LOT of places for food quality and the staff went out of their way to get us a table and high chair on a booked night. The vibe and food here is great and we will be back! 10/10. Thanks!

We had lunch at the Angel last Friday which was the Festival of Senses weekend,while the restaurant was busy we had booked a table in advance,we were promptly seated and our food was served in a good time considering how busy it was. The food was of good quality,warm and tasty. Would recommend eating here.

Had lunch and a few beers here whilst on holiday in the Brecon Beacons. Found the pub to be really cosy and the staff very welcoming. We were impressed with the good choice of veggie and vegan items on the menu (and a lot of nice meaty stuff too, but right now we're not eating much meat). The cask beers we tried were also in good condition.

RUDE STAFF felt like they were trying to turn away customers! We didn’t stay for food because they made such a fuss that we were eating at 2:20pm, we weren’t allowed to sit anywhere we asked to (even though tables were empty) personally I think that the waitress was lazy and avoiding work....Will not be visiting again. Much prefer the staff and service in Cawdor or Yr Hen Vic.

Very disappointed when we went for lunch on a Saturday. When the waitress brought the menus over to the table instead of greeting us, proceeded to cross off items in the menu that they had run out of. To our alarm this took her quite a while. By the time the waitress had finished Erasing the mouth watering lamb shoulder, all the burgers, anything with pork and the extremely slow roast beef from the menu it was easier for her to relay what they had left. Very underwhelming sausage and mash (poor gravy), good fish finger sandwich and very good ploughman’s. However, this did take 40 minutes to arrive from the point of order. I just feel compelled to reply, as a loyal customer, to LadyLuca. I sat in the bar area all day and early evening Sat 18th Jan. You’re right...it was heaving. Unheard of mid January, but that must say something about it’s popularity. We didn’t eat on this occasion so I wouldn’t dream of commenting under the heading “restaurant” as I didn’t order a meal much the same as you, it would seem. There was a superb atmosphere. The staff were great and the service was friendly. We moved our seats and squashed around our table to let others join in the fun. We made new friends and had a wonderful afternoon.
