"Being a huge fan of the beach for years, and loving their truffle pizza, I was abhorrently SHOCKED by the disgusting service I experienced this year. I called up almost everyday of my trip to book a table at Annex, which for years has been...my favourite restaurant and each time I was told they were fully booked. I understood, it is during the season. However, countless times I walked past the beach and saw during all the times I had wished to book, the restaurant was completely empty. Yet, I even turned up to the restaurant to book it in person, and was told the same. One instance, I turned up with some of my friends, and when we asked for a table during lunch, which can I say, was completely empty, we were told 'no'. No reason, just no. We had to ask him why, which stumped him, obviously did not want to mention that we didn't look the type to dine in this restaurant. We are young, who do not dress in the typical south of France flash way, per se. However, my friends and I decided to put this to the test to see if they were actually not letting us in because of our appearance. We asked one of our male friends to book a table, straight after we were rejected, which, in fact, he was able to do. This obviously sounds like a fluke, alas no, this happened countless times. We dined at Annex around times during our trip, all the times in which our male friend had booked us the table, and we had been rejected. And can I say, the restaurant always was empty. Was it really worth it? No. I cannot ill-advise this restaurant more. The amount of snobbery I experienced from the staff was one I have never experienced anywhere else. It is clear many more people have had the same experience, I just hope the restaurant will take these reviews into account in time for next year."

Very nice place. Elegant. Food and dishes presentation are good (Italian chef). The service too. Highly appreciated the shows during evening. Not at good price, but it deserves.

Where are the mandatory face masks for waiters both at the restaurant and on the beach????? We already paid for sun beds otherwise I would have gone somewhere else. Really guys, you need to wear face masks on mouth and nose, not on your neck!

We spent one day on the beach club. Beautiful setting. Food is very poor. Does not correspond to the price and other beach clubs restaurants in the area. Cocktails have no alcohol. And they started to discuss with me when I complained. Very poor...service for per person entrance fee.

We visited during day time , took sunbeds and had lunch as well. The setting of the beach is nice , and interior of the restaurant is very beautiful. We took a plate of raw seafood , fried mix of fish and also some sushi.... Everything was great quality and place is worth visiting when you are in Cannes. Sun bed prices were normal , and first and second raw but they looked really nice. Service and stuff also were friendly and good

My partner and I took me away for a surprise weekend. He booked all the restaurants in advance and on the first night, we booked a restaurant only to find out it was closed when we got there. We decided to try next door which...was Annex beach, we explained what happened to the maitre d' and she was SO LOVELY. She couldn’t have been more accommodating she went straight away and spoke to a manager to see what they could do and she came back and said that they would just make a table up for us and we could of course be fit in.
