"I spent a long time walking around Bognor Regis and Felpham looking for somewhere to eat on an Easter Monday evening. As time ticked by I became desperate and, after some hesitation due to its unprepossessing exterior and the fact there were only 3 people in there, I took the plunge and dived into Simla. …And was not disappointed. The food felt home cooked indeed I could hear it being prepared for me because I was sitting close to the kitchen door. It took time (not too much, mind) and the chef was obviously taking care. I had 4 simple dishes including a delicious fresh courgette side dish, mildly spiced, and a Naga version of tarka tadka dal. The oil used for cooking was clearly fresh and not too plentiful and everything had a tasty home cooked feel to it. I thoroughly enjoyed it and , if I lived locally, would certainly come back for more. The service was also very laid back and friendly. 10 10 for a simple, tasty meal cooked with care and sometimes that really hits the spot. Price was very reasonable too."

"after reviewing the reviews on pubs in the opposite, which I held over the May Day weekend, I came across the fox inn and reserved a table for me and the woman. we arrived a little earlier than our booking time and was welcomed by oli and assured that there was no problem we ordered our drinks and were very welcome to our table after we decided to go to the menu 20 minutes from the order we received our food, which has to be said, was **** beautiful, we were very impressed by the amount of meat on the teller it was so tender and tasty with a good amount of sweet and yorkshire pudding a fantastic Sunday roast dinner dinner in a nice gast-friendly pub with great service of oli. "During another vacation in Pagham, I had more meals from this fantastic cafe, mostly as takeaways. They offer a great selection of quality food such as fish and chips, jacket potatoes, baguettes, and paninis, all cooked freshly and quickly at a good price. The takeaway menu is customizable and includes items from the main menu. I also had one meal inside the cafe, where they served a wide variety of options quickly. The waitress was lovely and very patient with children, accommodating their whims and changes of mind. The homemade quiche was delicious, and although I resisted the temptation of trying the homemade cakes due to the calorie challenge, they looked mouthwatering. The interior of the cafe is charming and quirky, and you can choose to enjoy your meals and drinks on the outside sun decking or inside the row of 'train carriages'. The cafe is very close to the beach, with a car park opposite (or free parking just up the road). It never disappoints and always delivers a delightful experience."

"We had a reservation for 6:30pm on Wednesday night for 5 adults and 2 children. As soon as we were seated, the front of house staff, Luis, was excellent. We didn't have to wait for anything and the presentation of all three courses was flawless. The taste and balance of each dish showed great attention to detail. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant soon and hope others will enjoy the service and food as much as we did. A big shoutout to all the staff for making it a great evening. The surprise birthday dessert was the cherry on top. Keep up the fantastic work!"

"Food can be great if you can get past the very poor front of counter customer service. I have been a regular over many years, good chef and kitchen/waiting team, but I returned recently after a long time not going and had really bad experience. Woman on till, apparently the manager, made me feel extremely uncomfortable on serving us, as if she didn't want us there, then we waited so long for food(quick sandwich light lunch order) that we ran out if time to eat and had to cancel and leave refunded. So we ended up not eating anything and leaving with our money back. It would've been £25 for a lunch snack we would have rushed. We couldn't justify that. All very peculiar, I'm a familiar face there but was so snubbed. Imfact we took it quite personally and on principle had to get out. Its a real pity because the menu and variety and quality from the kitchen team is so good. I would not want to return and have to face the counter woman again. And I was warned beforehand that the management had changed and the service had dropped, so that was proved to be very accurate feedback. Perhaps a Customer Service course is required by the head of the team. Feedback is so important for the people behind the scene as well. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"
