The best meals we had during our holiday was in this restaurant. Everything from the appetisers to the dessert was very delicious and flavourful. Also, the service was second to none thank you Leo for the menu recommendation and making our dinner even more enjoyable! If you are visiting Bologna, book yourself a table at this restaurant, you won't regret it.

We visited this restaurant on a Wednesday evening, even though it was a quiet night, service was attentive and quick. We enjoyed everything from beginning to end: appetizers were fresh and wonderful, we ordered 3 pasta dishes and thoroughly enjoyed the homemade taste and quality, the main course was suckling pig for 3; the meat fell off the bone and the skin was crispy…everything was extremely well executed. We had a wonderful meal and definitely a highlight of our Bologna trip.

Although our first time in Bologna, this restaurant has an old school feel that is a refreshing respite from the trendier restaurants popping up all over Emilia Romagna. Not that there is anything wrong with that but in my mind, it's what you come here for. Classic dishes perfectly prepared. No written menu, just the waiter describing in great detail what our choices were. While everything was delicious, the slow-roasted suckling pig was one of the best things I ever ate. Make this a stop on your next visit. All will be happy.

We were visiting Bologna from the US and took a pasta class taught by Maria Grazia Azzaroni who recommended this restaurant to us.
