"The La Bruceta restaurant, with information a few days in advance, offers a dinner for 25 euros each for 14 October, including starter, first course, second course and dessert. This evening, since the chef is a guarantee, we went to the restaurant in Cremolino, where we have been three or four other times and where we ate satisfactorily, with an à la carte menu and interesting dishes. In truth, in addition to the food, what always attracted us was the terrace room overlooking the castle. Tonight they place around 40 people at six tables in the room next to the entrance and another 20 people in another room. To my request to be able to stay in the terrace room, the owner replies that it is already prepared for tomorrow and that it cannot be used. The dining room staff, apart from a waiter dressed in a dress code appropriate to his role, appears in worn and inappropriate clothing (even floral pajama shorts with lace and a t-shirt with the word boss . After half an hour the noise becomes deafening, the room is small and, even if you are chatting, it is impossible to hear your neighbour. "Wednesday 6.March, and late, we found most restaurants closed in Ovada and stumbled into this modern looking pizzeria but were drawn in by the fact that it was half full of local people, always a good sign we thought. Luckily we did! We had a lovely meal my wife had Bigoli Cacio e pepe (pasta with cheese and pepper) whilst I went for Salsiccia del Contadino sharing an L'insalatona. Our dishes were very good indeed, home made and very tasty. Bread was amazing, most people were having pizzas from wood burning pizza oven and they looked great too. We even had room for a selection of puddings and enjoyed it too. Service was very warm. Would highly recommend! Very reasonably priced."

"Da quasi un anno non passavamo a trovare Luca Orilia alla Cantina dell 'Archivolto a Ovada. La carta vini è monumentale. Stappiamo il Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes 'Les Crayères ' Egly Ouriet. Dal nuovo menù decidiamo per il Baccalà cotto a bassa temperatura per 45 minuti e crema all’aglio nero Coreano. Buonissimo il Midollo di Manzo “alla milanese” con Zafferano Marocchino e riso Acquerello. Ben equilibrata nella pizzantezza e freschezza la Capasanta ,Latte al basilico Genovese e NDUJA del sud. Hamburger Nero, con polpo Marocchino, pomodoro alla pizzaiola e Pecorino Sardo. Non potevano mancare i piatti storici come le Code di Gambero Argentine in tempura con pane Panko e Pink sauce e la Scaloppa di Fegato Grasso d’oca con Pane ai fichi ,mela, Sauternes. Chiudiamo con l 'ottimo dessert Gelato, albicocca candita e PX 85 insieme all 'Ice Wine 2019 di Liliac Kracher. Piatti ben eseguiti, sfiziosi e sempre curati con un servizio premuroso e attento che solo Luca riesce a dare. Sono anni che torniamo alla Cantina dell 'Archivolto e la sensazione di sentirsi coccolati ma soprattutto capiti nelle proprie esigenze e gusti, non ha prezzo! Bravi!"
