"The restaurant was very peaceful. The staff was outstanding, but the food was just average. We ordered pate, but there was too much pate and not enough bread. My husband had the onion soup, which was decent. Both of us ordered a chicken dish, but it was supposed to come with a potato nest which was missing. The black pudding and blueberry compote were served in large quantities on the plate, but it wasn't very appetizing. Perhaps it was just an off day for the kitchen or they were more laid-back because the restaurant was quiet."

it is a small walk, but good, it is worth it. eating is the best we had for a while everywhere. large selection of fish, meat and vegetarian and presentation is excellent, very full. the staff is especially friendly and the service is warm and fast. fabulous in a cold night

My husband myself enjoyed a wonderful three course lunch with wine for under £50 in a chic but relaxed space overlooking Lister Square. Staff were attentive, but not overbearing the food was delicious. Hubs is GF and although they don't have specific GF options on the menu, the manager made sure that all possible options were checked with the chef. Absolutely recommend Ver carta

very quiet. personal excellent, but just eat ok. had pate with ordinary problem much pate not enough brot. husband had a nasty soup that was in order. both had chicken court had kartoffel nest, which could not find. black pudding and blueberry kompote large amount on plate dumped. not very tempting. maybe just a bad day or kitchen more relaxed because restaurant was quiet

Although it may be a bit of a trek to get there, this restaurant is definitely worth it. The food is top-notch and the best we've had in a while. They offer a great variety of seafood, meat, and vegetarian options, all of which are presented excellently and are very satisfying. The staff is incredibly friendly and the service is quick and efficient. This place is perfect, especially on a cold night.
