"After a very pleasant afternoon with colleagues at the isar we decided to follow the recommendation of the guide and go to this restaurant with beautiful beer garden near lenggries. I think the weather and all the other factors have contributed to our perception, but we had a wonderful dinner with great eating in an extremely beautiful atmosphere. there is no doubt that we have made the perfect decision, since we all and I really all were happy and grateful about the orders, whether vegetarian or with special meat taste. I got pork with special sharp souse and it is excellent, the same I can say about the bark steak of my closest colleague who shared a piece with me. many of our Indian colleagues took chicken or fish and all expressed the same satisfaction. Finally we took a few desserts, the pancake with apricot jam was good, but nothing special. the chocolate cake, however, was really excellent and would recommend it to everyone who likes chocolate. I would prefer it with some fresh fruit instead of seeing, but that was pretty good. some cakes for the service - was pretty good. Although we went there in the main season, we had to wait no longer than a few minutes to fulfill our desires. the prices were also in order for the quality and the tasty food we got, I would say more than fair. last, but not least – because the beer garden is located just outside the village edge, you have all the time the feeling of making a picnic in nature, the feeling of freedom. combined with the excellent summer weather, we fortunately got a magical combination. the place is already on my favorite list and both I and my colleagues have already recommended him to some other colleagues and friends. just go and try not to regret it"

"Wir waren eine grössere Gruppe von 18 Personen. Waren auf der Isar River Rating und danach hier Essen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und unkompliziert im schönen Garten platziert. Wir waren froh das es so gut klappte da wir ja nicht angemeldet waren. Sehr freundliche und unkomplizierte Mitarbeiterinnen. Das Essen kam zügig und war von erstklassiger Qualität geprägt. Eine sehr delikate Bärlauchschaumsuppe war der perfekte einstieg um danach das feine Schweinsschnitzel Wiener art zu geniessen. Auch Die Hamburger sahen Toll aus und schmeckten auch so. Ebenfalls sehr gelobt wurden die Weisswürste. Weiter so, das ist Gastfreundschaft die man gerne geniest."

"After several days of wonderful Bavarian food we all needed a break and we found it here. We were 8 people, and everyone had a different dish. No complaints. Only smiles. Nach mehreren Tagen herrlicher bayrischer Kueche wurde nach Abwechslung gefragt. Alle einigten sich auf diesen Italiener. Keiner wurde enttaeuscht. Alle 8 hatten verschiedene Gerichte, und alle waren happy!"

"Yesterday had arrived at the Hirschbachstueberl, with the train about 1 hour from Munich. Very nice and beautifully located old host house, from Lenggries train station in about 20 minutes walk easily accessible. You can sit under a glass roof at the house or be comfortably outside. To the appetizer we had the day soup, yesterday a creamy and tasty lens soup. After that the Thaicurry, beautiful aroma, the vegetables had bites and was terrified (pikant, but not too sharp). On the other hand, we actually wanted to take the rice balls with tomato sauce and salad. But when the boss said she had fresh pifferlings with noodles that were not on the map, it had to be them (3x). Noodles al dente, discreetly spiced, so that the fungal aroma came to fruition, recommended! To dessert, we wanted to share a Tiramisu because we were already very tired. The portion was distributed in slices on 4 plates and a slice of vegan cheesecake just came to it! The tiramisu was tasty, but tasted a little more sour and the cream was less fluffy than the classic with mascara, as I know otherwise. The biscuit was great. The cheese cake was also very fine. The espresso after that was good, cappuccino with vegetable milk ok, but I got better. The service was very friendly, attentive and fast. We were there quite early when it would be fuller later, it might take a little longer because the boss has served alone and can't work more than that. Price /Performance top! We were there for the first time, but we agreed that it was not the last time!"

"Nach unserem fünften Besuch unter der neuen Restaurantführung gebe ich also nun meine Bewertung für den neuen Papyrer ab. Die bayerische Küche ist schlichtweg Durchschnitt, nicht mehr und nicht weniger....Die "asiatische" Küche ist meines Erachtens leider keinen Besuch wert. Jeder der schon einmal gut thailändisch oder vietnamesisch gegessen hat sollte hier einen großen Bogen um den Papyer machen. Ein derart langweiliges und geschmackloses Thai-Curry hatte ich zum Beispiel vorher noch nicht gegessen....Unterm Strich die gleiche (schlechte) asiatische Küche wie schon beim letzen Restaurant der Pächter in Lenggries der "Lahner Stub´n".... SCHADE !!!Wenn mich der Hunger auf asiatisch überfällt werde ich doch lieber ins "Reiskorn" nach Tölz, oder ins "Chamchuree" in Holzkirchen ausweichen !!!"
