Arcade Street Tavern

It is a nice place where we spent some weekends. they have a nice terrace for summer and even heating for not summer time. Gin spanish style are good!

Fantastic service (Hugo), great food, and a wonderful breeze whilst sat outside under the archway. The smoked salmon salad and the Caesar salad were generous portions.

We use to go at the week end. It is a nice bar with many beers to choice. It is in town center and they have a nice terrace that sometimes at weekends they have a small restaurant to get somerhing Ver carta

We visited the pub on Friday, it was super busy but still we managed to sit outside. There was a pizza stall with delicious oven pizza. Great staff and selection of draught and bottled beer. Definitely recommend!

Went in here for a quick drink last Friday night and was asked to remove my hat. I then brought an overpriced pint of cider, staff friendly, enough, but in this day and age asking people to remove hates etc is a very outdated way of thinking

We were therefor a meeting and they not only allowed us use of the back bar, but also provided a complimentary buffet. The beer was superb, the staff really pleasant and it seemed like the place had a great atmosphere with lots of quirky rooms. Very impressed. Ver carta

Arcade St was a breath of fresh air after a visit to a rival establishment Not Cheap but the atmosphere and ambience was worth every penny maybe some of the other publicans could do with a visit to see how to do it! Ipswich has lost a number of Pubs over the years but the Arcade dosen't slack just because there is less choice. Perfect.

This is a great bar for a quick pre or post-dinner drink with friends, a Friday or Saturday night ginfest or an afternoon tipple whilst shopping. Excellent, knowlegeable staff who really know their onions (or, rather, gins and ales) and a great selection of wines, ales and spirits to tickle your every fancy. Great gin-tasting nights and fun live-music events. In short, by favourite bar in Ipswich.

Excellent beers. I'm a craft beer fan, like a really big imperial stout and these guys had an excellent menu interesting beers on tap and some really outstanding UK craft cans. They generally know their stuff, too, so asking for a recommendation elicits interesting information. But early in the week, they close at 8 in the evening. And what I found rather annoying, last orders aren't called, so you may just fancy a last drink (or buying a couple of cans to take away, which you can do) and you find you've missed your chance. Fairly pricy, too, but if you're drinking Wild Beer or Tiny Rebel at 8 12% ABV, that's never going to be cheap! Ver carta
