"Very good surprise. We had lunch there, yesterday, in the company of our ****, delighted to settle on the terrace. In the sun! The restaurant is located on a quiet little square, and offers a menu at 16,50 €, entrance, dish, dessert. Everything is fresh, homemade, simple and tasty. A very small flat: fries (House) are probably made with new potatoes, which gives them a little sweet taste. But we are at the end of the winter season, and the Potatoes with firm flesh are probably not yet available. The service is provided by a smiling young woman who welcomes you and serves you kindly. We don't hurry, the dishes come at their pace, and you can enjoy your outdoor lunch. Drinks and coffee are also very affordable. A very good family address, at very reasonable prices, in the Basque Country, it doesn't run the streets. Go!"

"for a craving of mussels, salads, a simple dish or pizzas this small restaurant is really suitable: mussels: these are small-caliber mussels. the quantity is satisfactory and the quality is irreproachable. mussels are cooked and open; I didn't have any unpleasant little crab, or sandy grain. The sauce, roquefort was creamy and tasty. The shell-shaped plate is original and the very correct portion. The fries are cooked and golden, a nice serving. All served with fresh bread. The price is 11€ for this sauce .the rosé pichet is fresh, cuvée du patron 6€ - 1/2 litre.For the mussels the prices range from 8,50€ mariners to 12,50 € chorizo sauce"

"Je me demande parfois si je ne reviens pas à Saint Jean de Luz, qui a bercé mes vacances pendant mon enfance et mon adolescence, rien que pour me régaler à nouveau des exceptionnels chipirons à l'encre de ce restaurant typiquement basque dont les prix sont restés modérés et dont le mari de la patronne, qui mérite également le détour, maintient l'ambiance."

"Visited on a Thurs lunchtime as a English family of 4. Immediately made to feel welcome and shown how to view the menu in English via Google. We usually don't mind having a crack at guessing a menu and going a bit pot luck but this system worked fantastically. Kids enjoyed their meals and the starters and the mains for the adults were very tasty. All in all a great experience and we'd love to be staying more than just the one night in the area to make a second visit. PS. Try the churros pudding, my daughters somewhat of an expert and she rated it very highly."
