A light-filled attractive space with good acoustics, comfortable seating and friendly if untrained staff. Limited menu. Satisfactory food. On a winter's day, uplifting.

Enjoy a delicious afternoon tea here. The view is beautiful. There is a large outdoor seating area with sun umbrellas. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant has a nice cozy feeling.

Lovely restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere and view and friendly professional staff. Coffee and hot chocolate were great. Quality of food was okay but portion is tiny. Overall a good experience but quite overpriced.

The staff was very nice and attentive, the location is super and great for when the weather is beautiful. The afternoon tea was nice, but I expected a little more for the price. The cakes on the top were all quite simple and tasted the same, so it needed a certain variety. The sandwiches were all right, but also a little bland.

Food was well presented and staff were friendly, the view was very industrial, and it was expensive for what it was. We also received our food before anyone took a drinks order and when our drinks did arrive the server took my tea cup away and left me with just the pot. No one checked on us to ensure everything was ok either. Definitely room for improvement but overall the experience was ok.

The Ashmolean rooftop restaurant is a stellar experience. Museum restaurants can be a little iffy, but this one excels, with an imaginative menu, and beautifully presented and tasty dishes. Kudos to the kitchen team. We also had a very engaging waiter, Joshua, who managed to deliver good service despite a very busy dining room. We were very happy we opted to enjoy lunch here during our first visit to the Ashmolean.

The restaurant is in a very nice place and the food is delicious but at the same time the restaurant is ridiculous. My family and I waited for our lunch to come for 30min. The waiters did not give a spoon when we had soup. When we finished we were waiting for a fruit salad and that took 10min. And it was a huge disappointment because it was so small, Literally only two raspberry’s one blackberry and a little amount of sliced strawberries. We literally paid £3 for this!! But luckily the waitress took it of the bill. I am not impressed by this restaurant.

The star is for the location. The service was laughably dreadful. Our party of five adults two children popped in for afternoon tea a simple order of four pots of tea, one cup of coffee two of hot chocolate. We found our own table after being ignored by the alleged ‘waiting’ staff and fetched menus as these weren’t offered. A disinterested waitress eventually took our order, volunteering no useful information, such as the types of tea available. Later, pots of tea and other drinks were brought to the table via 6 trips to from the bar. Random cups and saucers followed in dribs drabs.
