Asia Kim - Carta

Kim's restaurant offers delicious Asian food served in very good time with an obliging spirit. A great little place.

Unfortunately it appears to cater for the western palate and has lost many of the fine flavours and spices of asian cuisine.

Stopped in for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised. The food and service was amazing. This is a must for those with a desire for asian cuisine. Ver carta

A bit hidden but what a great food! Price - value- TASTE juste one word: GREAT! Very quick service. Ordered a second main course plate - both supertasty. Friendly waitress. Also take away possible. I will defenitly visit this place again!

We went there for dinner as a family, for a change from continental food. It was a welcome change with excellent service and decent food. Decent as I am from Asia and have a wide variety of choices. The hosts were very gracious and helpful. Speed of service was excellent and spice level was also fine for our kid.Would go back!

After many 'heavy' German meals it was a pleasure to eat high quality Asian food with great service - and it is so reasonably priced too. The menu is easy to understand and the servings are fairly generous too. The two of us shared 2 meat dishes, a fried rice dish and one vegetable dish and we were very satisfied. Including a bottle of wine it was the best value meal we have had in Germany so far. We are surprised that it was not crowded, as it is a brilliant restaurant. Ver carta

Found this place in a narrow street and gave it a try. Downstairs to an underground vault or cellar-like room painted .... pink. Sounds bad but it's ok ! Extensive menu, value pricing. Have tried crispy duck with vegetables - excellent, not fried, but with very thin crispy skin. Also seafood and veges in red thai curry sauce, - very good. Baked banana in honey for desert (€2) also good. Service fine if a little abrupt, but such a great little restaurant, I can put up with that!

I had to write a review of Asia Kim because I was so sad to see that we were the only ones eating there on this particular night, and it was one of the best meals we had had in 4 weeks of travelling throughout Germany and Austria. Add to that that it was a fantastic value and such a welcome relief from typical Germanic food and bad ethnic eateries. We ordered one of the chicken dishes and one beef along with the vegatarian fried noodles and everything was very well prepared with lots of flavor. With a glass of wine and a large mineral water, the total was under €30.

It's very good because it's plentiful, cheap and so nice to eat lots of fresh veggies instead of sausages and potatoes. But remember that if you're from the UK you are spoilt by the Asian standards that are much higher as there's so much more competition (lots more Asians!) so I would score it higher by German standards but I don't want to get you over excited.Still, very good and a refreshing and healthy change from the norm. If you like it spicier (not German spicy) ask them to cook with the chillies that actually have a kick or ask for it separately (don't use the oily stuff - it's mostly salt!).Also the service is - well, Chinatown style plus, they have a doorbell for each table when you...
