"On arriving at Ask on 30th December, the staff had no record of my online booking even though I followed up with a phone call ahead of the day to confirm a high chair was required. My friends and I found the staff unsympathetic to our predicament and made us feel like the error was our fault rather than OpenTable or Ask. Even an apology at the time would have softened our disappointment but instead the staff seemed rude and unfriendly. There was no space to accommodate us for lunch even though I had made a booking so we were forced to leave in the hope that we could find somewhere to eat. Thankfully Prezzo in Marlborough managed to find us a table and we were really impressed by the friendly and accommodating staff. A sharp contrast to our experience with the staff at Ask. We had travelled some distance to meet in Marlborough for a birthday lunch and sadly we left Ask frustrated at the lack of friendly reception at the restaurant. Due to this unacceptable experience, I will not be using Open Table again for any bookings and we will not be returning to Ask in Marlborough."

We just picked a variety of starters and the they were all fantastic, the Calamari was done just right.The mushrooms were insane with a little lemon juice, who knew!

had a delicious pizza, tried the new beef gorgonzola on a gluten-free basis and actually tasted like a full gluten pizza! hannah, our server was extremely helpful and will definitely return and recommend.

give you five stars because of the waitress who served us. her eating was nice, but it was her fellow worker who really made our visit special. I'm sorry I didn't get her name, but we were at 12 o'clock on Tuesday 10th april.

they were a few times recently as part of a couple and also friends. eating is always delicious and plentiful. staff always very helpful and attentive, without being overlaid. not the cheapest place in the city, but certainly not the most expensive. will definitely go back and would definitely recommend.
