"I ordered takeout from here for the first time, and I must say, the keema naan was absolutely delicious—definitely the highlight of my meal. The chicken curry was enjoyable as well, with great flavors in the sauce, although I wish it had been spicier. The crispy okra was quite tasty too. I was really looking forward to the lamb biryani, but unfortunately, it tasted overwhelmingly of cardamom, which really took away from the overall experience. It overshadowed the entire dish. On a positive note, the popadoms and complimentary soup were delightful. As for vegetarian options, there’s a good variety of choices for both starters and mains."

"If you like your food fresh, local and sustainable then Angela’s is for you. Cooked to perfection and without fuss, the Ray Wing and Hake dishes we chose were beautiful. We ate at Rocksalt and were underwhelmed, but Angela’s exceeded our expectations. You can’t beat simple, fresh ingredients prepared sympathetically and served without over embellishment. "I was warmly welcomed by the lovely Grace, who engaged me in delightful conversation about good food and global cuisines while serving a piping hot burger that stayed perfectly warm. The patties had that ideal crispy edge while maintaining a juicy flavor, layered with bacon, gooey golden cheese, red onion jam, and garlic aioli. The bun held everything together flawlessly, minimizing any slippage to ensure each bite was a glorious experience, complete with ample sauce for a wonderfully indulgent treat. The Cajun fries were crunchy, hot, and seasoned to perfection, and the black garlic mayo was absolutely a standout—be sure to try some of their sauces too! It was heartwarming to hear owner Steve and Grace discuss their shifts; it’s clear that Steve genuinely cares about his team, which reflects in their passion for creating excellent, indulgent food. I can’t wait to explore more of the menu and share this gem with other food lovers who appreciate a true winner. Thank you for turning my Monday around—now I can’t help but want to come back any day of the week!"

"My friend and I went on a seal watching trip from Ramsgate and wanted somewhere for a lovely tea afterwards. Oh my goodness this was just the ticket. Fantastic service, really delicious food, and a great setting. We loved it. Excellent qualities (too much) and...such good value, lots of choice but I would really recommend the afternoon tea as so much to eat and so beautifully presented. We asked for the Earl Grey tea which sadly wasn't included in the afternoon tea free fill ups, so we were given it for free. (actually we would happily have paid a supplement for this to be included). The cup cakes we couldn't eat were put in little boxes for later consumption with no fuss, A perfect afternoon tea."
