"This is a really great place. It isn't often that a restaurant can provide good food and service but Rustico pulls it off. The Food: The dishes are a bit pricey £20pp isn't uncommon) and the meatloaf is to die for. They don't serve a caccetori, which I found interesting. And they don't serve marinara with the calamari, which is always cooked to perfection not overdone and rubbery, which is easy to do). The wine selection is good too a little pricey for the quality, but they've chosen the wines and dishes) carefully and they are presented without being pretentious. To me this is the best part. Good food doesn't have to be snobby. It can be nice, yet casual. Tasty, and down to earth. The Service: No matter what you order, you're sure to get personalized service without a rush. I also like the environment, too, because it is cosy. I often bring dates here because it is easy to feel like it is just the two of you having a chat and being served by your very own staff. To me the tables feel as if they are in a small country home. It is that warm and cosy inside. Also, my conversation is never interrupted by wait staff at Rustico. This is a big deal to me as I'm often on dates at this place, trying to get to know a new friend. The service is really spectacular. Truly. Special notes: Make reservations on the weekends as it books up. Also, don't be afraid to show up last minute without reservations because though they do book up, there are often spots left open from no shows. But definitely make reservations if you can."

"What a nice experience tonight! Unfortunately I am away for work during valentines day. Oblivious until I realised that would mean me dining alone on a celebrated night for couples. AWKWARD! Put on my big girl pants and headed to the closest Pizza express (club app is awesome- lots of discounts if you are a fan) because its a easy favourite. Had a laugh with the staff regarding my table for 1 situation. Food perfect- classic pizza express quality. Service was great and attentive and everything as needed, with all requests met with happiness. Asked for a takeaway dessert as Its nice to have a sneaky treat before bed.... but mid snack I realised this was the note the server gave me..... how lovely. We had a giggle on my awkward dining experience, we talked about how being women it's always difficult being out dining alone. But this blew me away! So Niesa (hope this is the right name) thank you for supporting the lady on table 27 at approx 8pm. You are wonderful, thoughtful and a great champion of the pizza express brand! "let me start with the positive ones. grub makes some creative paninis/sandwiches and plays some great music. at my first visit I had the hammer of thor in a baguette, which was a beautiful large part and super tasted. the service was very fast and also, although I arrived on a busy Monday during the lunchtime. the negative is that the inner is not the most welcoming. it is a bit naked and economical look. could be 5 stars, but just need this additional touch to make the inner more attractive."

"Have wanted to try this takeaway for a couple of years due to good reviews and a love of spicy food. So finally ordered online last night. Went for the set meal for two consisting of Poppadoms and chutney, two pakoras, salad, two mains with...rice and nan. Had the Himalayan Lamb and Hot Khathmandu Chicken for mains and it was delicious. Everything was cooked really well. Normally with a takeaway you have to re-heat the mains if you eat the starter separately but not in this case, it was all piping hot. Only very slight criticism was too much rice and a plain nan instead of peshwari or keema, but overall an excellent meal. Well worth a try."

"Ordered online delivery on New Years Eve at 4:30pm with 45min delivery time .At 6pm phoned and told food def on way . It did arrive ... dripping wet soggy esp. Naan poppadoms . Absolutely foul . Rice was missing from order too we phoned for explanation of what one meal actually consisted of as it was like scrapings out of a deep fat fryer and dripping in grease ? Yes- it was that bad. Got offered discount from next order but I was unhappy with this option but they wouldn’t deliver missing items or 1 replacement meal we stay approx 15mins from restaurant! . I suggested I’d collect which was accepted . Rice was ok- replacement poppadoms chips just as bad 2nd time . Not sure what went wrong , but it was seriously awful took shine off end of year celebrations . Will NOT use again ."
