"We were well welcomed by the staff, and then we discovered the dining area which was stunning!The staff gave us great food recommendations: Bareh Kebab and Makhsus Joojeh (lamb chops, lamb and chicken skewer with safran rice and grilled tomato). Definitely a must try as everything is made from scratch!Then we finished our meal with a homemade Iranian safran and pistachio ice cream (a killer! and a safran tea, drunk the Iranian way of course.We ate like king and queen at a fair price.Give it a try, you won't find homemade food like this in Aberdeen :)We will definitely be back to discover more!"

"Finally, a fantastic Indian restaurant in Aberdeen! I was hesitant at first due to my previous experiences in Scotland, but this place really impressed me. I didn't even need to look at the menu - I ordered the butter chicken for £8.99 (without rice) and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was juicy, tender, and full of flavor, cooked on a skewer and possibly in a Tandoor oven. I was impressed by the generous portion size, with at least 8 or 9 good-sized pieces of chicken. The gravy was equally tasty, perfectly seasoned without being too salty. The only downside was the rice for £2.99, which wasn't as fragrant as I had hoped, but the portion size made up for it. The service was friendly and attentive, earning them even more points in my book. Overall, this restaurant serves top-notch butter chicken with generous portions at a reasonable price. I even tried to leave a tip, but the server kindly informed me that a signature was all that was needed. Plus, a little chocolate treat with the bill was a nice touch. I wish I had been there for their lunch buffet - I would definitely return to try it out!"

"let me start with the positive ones. grub makes some creative paninis/sandwiches and plays some great music. at my first visit I had the hammer of thor in a baguette, which was a beautiful large part and super tasted. the service was very fast and also, although I arrived on a busy Monday during the lunchtime. the negative is that the inner is not the most welcoming. it is a bit naked and economical look. could be 5 stars, but just need this additional touch to make the inner more attractive."

"As someone who has been a cook for many years and a lover of Indian cuisine, I recently visited this restaurant for the first time on my birthday. I must say that I was extremely impressed and even a bit frustrated that I only have one stomach, as the food was truly magical and delicious. The dishes prepared by the chefs were a delight to the taste buds and I was completely enamored with the flavors. Additionally, the restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and pleasant. The staff were also professional and attentive. I will definitely be returning to this wonderful Indian restaurant again. Thank you."

"We made a reservation online for 6:30 pm on Saturday, April 27th and arrived promptly. The service was satisfactory and the food was alright, although there was a delay in serving the main course. When we requested a dessert menu, along with another prosecco and glass of wine, they promptly brought us the drinks but did not provide the menu until we asked a different staff member. After paying the bill and sitting and chatting, at 8:05 pm the waitress abruptly told us that she needed the table back immediately, even though my wife had not finished her drink. We were surprised by this, as no one had informed us of a time limit on the table when we arrived or made the reservation online. Despite other customers still present who had arrived before us, we decided to leave. Unfortunately, there was no staff member available to address our concerns about the time limit. We submitted a complaint through 'Opentable' later on, but have not received a response over a week later. We are disappointed with the treatment we received and will not be returning to Da Vinci, nor will we recommend it to others until we receive an explanation for the poor service."
