We'll visit here again now we know they've stated they won't host wildlife murderers. Such a lovely pub doesn't need spoiling by hunt scum.

The Anchor always gives us such a warm amazing welcome. Food is absolutely great and very well priced, with great specials. The atmosphere is so friendly. Humphrey our cocker always is welcome no matter how busy. I would highly recommend this pub, it really is one of the best around.

Fantastic place in a lovely location. The owners are friendly and go above and beyond. The breakfasts are good, and the portion sizes are just right. The evening meals are brilliant. I visited with a large group paddling down the Barle on Sunday. The interior is bright and modern with lots of fun signs in the bar area. We had a warm reception, and the service was prompt and friendly. There was a choice of two meats (or both and a vegetarian option. Sunday lunch was served quickly and was extremely plentiful (lots of happy paddlers! . The back of the pub looks out over their pretty gardens. Definitely will visit again! Service: 5 Ver carta
