The scallops were so fresh and mouth watering and the venison well seasoned and true to the meats strong authentic flavour. The wine list could do with being a little more inspiring and a broader range, but the prices are very good value. Al in all a really enjoyable meal that is excellent value for money given the quality of the food and the enthusiastic young staff made it a highly memorable experience."

Sunday evening dreadful heated up leftovers from lunch. No offer to deduct from bill. Tuesday freshly cooked ok gastro food in nice room and attentive service Bars pretty good

general portions of great eating in a beautiful environment. the restaurant can be a little quiet so they prefer to sit in the bar and lounge area where they can still eat from the same menu.

very nice equipment good service. I was really small with my starter of scalops and black pudding and lack of taste disapointed. my cheese bacon was very nice and I enjoyed my fries. would come back.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal here on a Sunday evening. This is the first time we have visited the Mallyan Spout but it won’t be the last. The staff were friendly and attentive and my fillet steak was cooked to perfection. I can thoroughly recommend visiting here if you are in the area.

we really enjoyed our meal in the Mallayian spits. the presentation of the food was excellent and all very tasty. the prices were reasonable and the veg was very nice. I had duck breast for all, beautiful and pink cooked. my partner had the seafood girl that they really enjoyed. the service was very good, a nice relaxed ambiente in restaurant, I would definitely recommend the Mallayian spit.
