What a storming find in Exeter, if you want great food, cooked in view, made with love served with a huge smile, look no further. Angela's is an absolute beaut and a very refreshing change to Exeter's normal national fayre found in most towns in the UK.

We were lucky enough to get a table at this small and beautiful restaurant. Make sure you book as there aren't many tables. The place is small and cozy. The food was phenomenal, the service was even better. I can't recommend this place enough. I had the lamb, which was cooked to perfection, the portions are generous. The presentation is simple but elegant.

We've eaten here several times for special occasions. On each visit it has been the little things that made it special. The first time we went there we took a bunch of animal face masks with us (much like masked ball masks) and put them on for the dessert course. Angela loved it, took a photo and even got Richard and some of the other kitchen staff to come see. It's made us memorable to them (though I think they remember a lot of their previous customers due to the personal nature of the restaurant) and every visit back they have recognised us and always have a little chat.
