"Atmosphere is a good bistro and a safe bet. I used to come here years ago before leaving Paris for a while. I had kept a good memory of my stays in this small café facing canal St Martin. Family atmosphere, heated discussions between regulars, rounds of kir or muscadet. Hearty tasty blood pudding, andouillette or salt pork with lentils to soak up the booze. That's why I chose Atmosphere one of my old favorite spots to meet my 2 sons after a long absence It was the right move. We shared hugs, warm words, last news, gossip, laughs. And of course food, 2 plates of cold cuts and cheese with a bottle of Brouilly. Atmosphere remained and I hope will remain forever cozy, typical, authentic. Old-world charm, wooded setting, traditional brasserie cuisine even if the menu is now more trendy. A bit of irony, to-day customers are younger than before because elderly clients have given way to local youngsters and yuppies. C'est la vie."

ca devient une épidémie dans cette ville de Paris. . . la qualité d'une cantine bobo va bientot se juger sur le degré d'indécence d'un service client inexistant. . . lent, imprécis. . sans parler des tables bancales et trop petites . .

The duck confit was perfectly cooked, with tender, flavorful meat and crispy skin that made every bite a delight. For dessert, the crème brûlée was a true highlight – silky smooth custard topped with a perfectly caramelized sugar crust. Both dishes were exceptionally good, making for a memorable meal.
