This restaurant is a good opportunity to eat and drink as a local. It’s a good idea to book a table in advance because is a bit crowded at dinner time. Great taste!

Everything is fantastic! They went above and beyond to be amazing, the chef was wonderful. And the cute boy that was serving drinks was the best. But the kitchen closes at 10pm. Even though they were very accommodating and brought us some food anyways. They are fabulous.

Sitting here on a lovely, rainy afternoon with friends playing cards, drinking apfelwein and eating green sauce. One of my most cherished memories of Germany. We all tasted each other's plates and there wasn't a bad dish on the table. We had to come back...for more plate before we left Frankfurt and the bartender (who didn't speak much English) treated us to a delicious dessert drink. Don't miss this place!

It’s been a long time since I was last in Frankfurt but I had fond memories of evenings in Atschel drinking Apfelwein and enjoying local specialities. My return did not disappoint. It is unusual times with Covid restrictions in place. You have to show proof...of vaccination, recovery or a negative test under national regulations. As a UK national I carry a printout of my NHS Covid pass so much easier than fiddling with my phone. This was absolutely fine. The staff were very friendly, especially with my german. It wasn’t necessary as they spoke excellent english, but I persisted! Frankfurter schnitzel with fried potatoes and local grüne Soße was excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Ver carta
