"We came to Barr for local vines testing and as usual decided to try local restaurants. By share chance we stop by at Au Potin. The name sounds like a Russian President name - we found it a bit funny and decided give it a try. The result was fantastic! We were the company of 5 people and all of us choose different dish. We have had foie gras for a starter. They fry it and serve it with lentil. Great starter! One of the best foie gras dish I had so far. We have tried each other dishes and all of them were great. Weal, beef, fish, risotto - all was superb. I would strongly recommend weal, risotto and beef. Also we have had deserts - brownies were out of this world! All together if you driving through Alsace I would strongly recommend to stop at Au Potin for lunch or dinner."

"Very good Italian restaurant barring last) Very good service, nice and pleasant, always! Nice terrace with a small water court! A little disappointed with the decrease in pizza sizes, though it remains good! Otherwise all are good! Surprise pizza for us in general but this time disappointed little topping on it, so it depends on lol remains, but rarely disappointed!"

"Nous n 'avions pas réservé et nous voulions ne pas quitter la région sans avoir dégusté la Flamm locale.Après quelques errances kilométriques nous avons découvert cette chaleureuse auberge en bordure de route.L accueil est chaleureux et le sourire de la directrice nous laisse augurer une belle soirée et ce fut le cas.Certes nous avons fait local avec les Flamms et un Bibel partagé. Mais la tradition gustative fut respectée et nous a enchanté. La note sucrée au travers une crème brûlée et un tiramisu aux fruits rouge nous a permis de bien terminer cet instant culinaire. Une mention particulière pour le service en salle efficace,rapide,souriant à l image de l accueil. .."

"the restaurant is based on a market kitchen on slate. We went to this restaurant with a groupon deal (entrance, dish, card dessert for 2 people) of a value of 90,80 € paid 59,90 €.At the end of the meal, I point out to the boss that the proposed deal is lying and dishonest, that by taking the most expensive dishes we arrive far from the account. without argument, she calls the boss who justifies it explains that the €90.80 have been calculated from the most expensive dishes of the Christmas card !! (of course). Except that the offer dates from July... He still acknowledged that there was a small problem. the idea of offsetting the price by offering the drinks did not touch it. this truly anti-commercial attitude is lamentable and very disappointing. concerning the quantities served, I let you judge: the scallop of Santiago at 21 € is composed of 4 small nuts bathing in a lot of sauce. we are not ready to go back."
