"C'est une adresse où l'on prend toujours plaisir à s'y retrouver.Côté ambiance déco, c'est chaleureux, des jeux en bois flamands sont à dispositions. Les lieux sont soignés et propres ( ça semble évident et pourtant il faut le préciser, nous avons récemment visité un établissement "sale" ).Côté fourneaux, les produits sont cuisinés et ça se sent ! Ici pas de barquette industrielle repassée au micro-ondes, même la mayo est maison. Les grands classiques sont présents, et maîtrisés, à cela s'ajoute un plat du moment. Les prix sont à la juste mesure de la qualité des produits proposés. Élément important d'un estaminet, les bières! Les pompes sont bien choisies. Notamment la bière du moment.Enfin le service, toujours souriant et attentif.Conclusion, si vous ne passez pas devant, faites le détour."

"Excellente adresse nichée dans un joli coin de campagne verdoyante. Découvert l'endroit un peu par hasard sans jamais en avoir entendu parler, mais quelle agréable surprise ; il ne manque rien. Superbe vue sur la nature à partir de la terrasse, intérieur décoré avec goût, service rapide et efficace, ambiance sympa. Nous avons opté pour les moules du chef... Réelle découverte pour cette recette originale et un vrai régal. Une chose est sûre : nous reviendrons, mais ça ne sera plus par hasard."

"Het Blauwershof, in Godewaersveld, for Normans visiting the Nooord ...we are in the Flemish Country...for a family meal in an estaminet. Welcome and service, professional and caring, by a lady, with an offbeat sense of humor, shelled on the outside but kind on the inside. We honor the traditional and generous cuisine of the place.... Naturally we start with a gently bitter local beer... Then a well-cooked and tasty marrow bones...followed by a knob of pork joy confit in red beer, tender and melting, accompanied by tasty and crunchy fries.....to finish with a brioche, exquisite and crispy . It 's hard to leave this den of fraudsters with its friendly and comforting atmosphere, enhanced by a warm and pleasant decor. A good memory that we will remember."

"A lot of people at Mont des Cats on this holiday on August 15. And although a panel at the top indicates: Le Mont des Cats, its abbey, its inns..... , well in reality there is only one restaurant and consumption establishment that is the Grand Estaminet. Despite the high attendance of the establishment that day, the staff goes to its occupations, does not leave the clientele in plan, all with smile and friendliness. Rustic interior, warm, pleasant. Beautiful panorama on the surroundings from the windows, Reasonable prices. Great choice of beers for amateurs. Appreciable is that the establishment is open every day, except on Wednesdays, unlike other establishments of this kind of neighborhood that prefer to close in the week or holidays, or to open only partially. Only a shame is that the terrace would ask to be enlarged. To go there without hesitation."
