"Repas en famille, cadre très très convivial. Le choix de la carte est intéressant. Les galettes sont excellentes avec de très bons produits, cependant ma galette est arrivée légèrement tiède et manquait un peu de croustillant. Pour les crêpes, rien à dire: excellente ! Cependant le seul bémol de la soirée est le service... En presque 2h sur places nous avons seulement mangés nos galettes. Il manque sans doute un peu d'efficacité... Crêperie que je recommande fortement tout de même !"

"We were recommended to this restaurant by the owners of the nearby Gite we were staying at in Mayenne in the Pays de la Loire, North western France . It was my birthday and wanted somewhere special to celebrate. We were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived the staff were incredibly helpful. Shamefully our French is practically non existent, so after a few attempts at trying to work out the menu, the owner/ chef, William Blondel came out and went through the entire menu with us and stayed till we had ordered. We drank house champagne, which was excellent. Every course and amuse bouche were a delight, all punctuated by knowledgeable and friendly service. Once again I cannot recommend highly enough this gem of a restaurant in a picturesque little town (Fontaine DanieI. The staff were fantastic. The chef, an artiste. Michelin, where is your star!!? NB. Even the coffee (espresso was the best I have tasted."

"Il est très difficile de trouver un restaurant ouvert le dimanche pour déjeuner à Mayenne. Il existe plusieurs gastronomiques mais ils n'étaient pas vraiment dans notre budget. On s'est décidé pour l'un des rares établissements ouverts. Comme son nom l'indique, on y mange des spécialités alsaciennes. Cela tombe bien, j'aime beaucoup la gastronomie de cette région. Je suis plus flammekueche que choucroute. Cela tombait bien puisque le restaurant en proposait. Ma femme n'avait pas un gros appétit. Elle a pris le petit modèle. Il y a approximativement 3 € d'écart entre les deux tailles en prix. Par contre en dimension, cela va du simple au double! En outre la flammekueche n'était pas exceptionnelle et mal cuite : la pâte était croustillante et le fromage à peine cuit. Par contre la décoration est sympa et le personnel de service également."
