We were desperately looking for a small restaurant or eating a Monday night. I don't regret our finding, not from the region. A very pleasant, very simple and family welcome, everything we love, we ate very well all the plates are left empty, the person who took care of us came to talk a little at the end of the meal, it was very friendly. My wife and I along with our fifteen year old daughter spent the evening of Thursday March in Cholet, France before a week at Le Bois Aux Daims Centre Parcs. Walking around Cholet at we found few places to eat, eventually coming across...AU ROY D’YS on Rue Saint-Pierrre, around three hundred yards from the town centre. The establishment described itself as “Creperie, Grill and Pizza”. The restaurant was completely empty, prompting us to initially walk by. I am glad we returned. We were warmly welcomed by a lovely lady who managed a little English to assist our limited French.
