Sometimes one can forget just how good a restaurant is. We went for lunch today and were not disappointed. Great service, great food and excellent wine accompanied by being seated on the terrace on a warm summers day. The foie gras did not disappoint, neither did the canette, and my chocolate dessert was fabulous. Plotting my next visit...

It is often very difficult to find a location where more than 30 people can enjoy a first class lunch together. So often a large group is difficult to accommodate without sacrificing quality of cuisine, service and hospitality. The Auberge de Bardigues sacrifice nothing. The food was excellent and the level of service and hospitality was outstanding. I am sure we will return. The Rotary club of Villeneuve have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

Nous nous sommes rendus dans cet établissement entre amis. L'accueil y est très chaleureux.Le menu que nous avons choisi étais tout simplement succulent avec un rapport qualité prix plus que raisonnable et des produits extra frais.Je tiens à parler du chariot de fromages qui nous a été présenté par un monsieur fort sympathique, une présentation parfaite qui m'a donné envie de découvrir des fromages succulents!!!!Tout est parfait cuisine succulente, assiette bien présentée, cadre agréable, personnel de salle très sympathique et à l'écoute des clients.Nous reviendrons sans tarder. This is the second time we have eaten at this lovely Auberge. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary with friends. Bardigue is about 30-minute drive from Moissac, which about 40 miles north (roughly) north of Toulouse. We all selected the Plat du Jour, which consisted of three courses plus wine. The price was reasonable but the poor weather forced us to eat indoors. The food was excellent, as is nearly always the case in France. The waiters seem to have a pride in their job, which is not evident in British or American waiters! I highly recommend this restaurant, make reservations, and hope to return again in a year or two. If I could award 4.5 points, that's what I would do.

Whatever I spend in a restaurant I am looking for value for money and this place has it in spades! Set in a pretty village not far from the main A62 road Bordeaux - Toulouse this makes it a wonderful place to break your drive for lunch. The restaurant has a fab outside terrace and great views over the valley.We had the 22 menu - Gravelax, pork and chocolate brownie ( I simplify) and my husband had the 28 euros menu which was a plate of chacuterie ( including the best warm black pudding), duck breast and an apple and caramel tart with ice cream ( again I simplify). An enthusiastic waiter who was just so proud of the menu and a great bottle of wine finished off a perfect meal. With tip it came...

This little gem is tucked away in a French countryside village of the same name. Service was exemplary. After the complimentary amuse bouche we both had the warm king prawn starter with mozzarella, anchovies, artichoke hearts, beetroot and basil dressing. Really yummy. To follow we had sumptuous monkfish with a pan fried vegetable medley laced with crab and an intense crab reduction. This was good cooking. My desert was a masterpiece of chocolate garnished with popcorn and my partner had roast apricots with an iced almond yoghurt. Mmmmm.
