"We had lunch on December 19 when we returned to this restaurant that offers a kitchen with a fireplace. I strongly recommend for lovers of meat cooked with wood fire whose flavor is not hidden by sauces. We were 3 guests and tasted duck, lamb and beef and each meat was excellent. Accompanied with fries that I usually avoid but there still very good and not fat at all. Finally in gourmet I also recommend the homemade clafoutis with apples, (and fruity white cider! A very good address!"

"It was not our first stay at the hotel, of which we had very good memories (it has nevertheless been several years) both for the comfort of the rooms, the infrastructure, the services and the quality of the services and products at the hotel. restaurant. The breakfasts in particular were exceptional (and I know what I'm talking about, being a frequent world traveler) to the point where I often refer to them in my hotel reviews. I was disappointed this time. Nothing is missing but it is completely common and standard. It's too bad. On the other hand, where this hotel has a serious problem is in terms of the quality, professionalism and presentation of the restaurant staff. The whole thing is far from being of the level that the restaurant (and the prices charged there) is supposed to have. We had dinner there and spent New Year's Eve there, so we cannot say that it was an isolated accident. There is serious progress to be made in this area. The lack of personnel in this sector is not an excuse. The quality of the dishes served is not concerned but the table service is just worthy of a bistro for truckers. "We choose the restaurants on its fairly high ratings and was really let down. Menu is small and focused on crepes and local dishes so far so good. Waiter or maitre d took the order and his English was as good as my French but we got there, we ordered 2 Crepes Jambon without any cheese or other stuffing for the kids and Chicken and beef for us. When the food arrived the crepes where full of cheese not a huge problem and we removed it. The chicken was a casserole with a split white sauce and rice pretty basic and tasteless but not terrible. The beef was ordered medium and was raw and cold inside again this happens and not a big problem but the next 15 minutes is the reason for 2 star score. The Maitre D looks on our table and for sure see that things are not great but walks away next time he comes out I have to call him why he tries to good around the tables back into the restaurant. I ask to have it cooked medium and he goes back to the kitchen only to bring it back medium rare and still cold. When he puts the steak down I ask for the bill and he sends his colleague out with i it, again not checking on the table. Everybody makes mistakes but avoiding tables and not checking back on customers is unprofessional and bad for business. We had a bad experience and this could easily have been fixed if they cared."

"Bonjour.Nous sommes allés dîner en famille dans ce restaurant gastronomique.Il y a un parking pas super évident à trouver mais grand et propre.L accueil fût très bien notre table très bien dressée mais nous étions un peu serré sur cette table ronde mais nous étions 7 je pense qu'il n'y avait pas trop le choix car le restaurant n est pas non plus très grand.Nous avons choisi des menus à 37 euros.Je ne conseil pas les escargots le grulliere en gratins ne va pas du tout avec ce plat et c'est dommage.Ensuite nous avons pris le bœuf aux girolles qui lui était parfait mais alors encore un gros dommage pour le plat de fritte que l on nous à servi en accompagnement on aurait apprécié quelques légumes cuisines.Des frites dans un restaurant gastronomique c'est un peu limite......et si l on met le prix du menu dans la balance alors je trouve que c'est trop cher.Le service ça peu aller quelques petites erreurs ou fautes mais rien de grave.Conclusion le cadre est très sympa typique Normand acceuil et service bien cuisine à revoir plus de frites s il vous plaît.Personnellement je ne pense pas y retourner."
