We have been going there at least one a year while on vacation price are reasonable and food ALWAYS great you will never be disappointed and can expect the best every time !

I gave the address, but I don't have any meals here for one. 25 years later, what a surprise, it is still a great place! very good waiter and waiter, patient and care, menus are ok with dishes cooked with local...production (poor, cheese). I didn't shoot the bill and had a great moment.

We've lived at Le Mans for 16 years, and I defy anyone, no matter in which country they live, to find better at 41€. And the wine list! We had a bottle of second wine from a good chateau, and unlike many restaurants it was...but twice the retail price. From 7,000€ to ordinary wine, you'll go far, very far, to find a wine list like this. Ver carta

I went for lunch with some friends just before the Le Mans 24. I had the house dish of langoustine ravioli and then chicken in a white sauce. They were both off the chart good ! The service was perfect, very good wines and without...the usual long wait one has at smart restaurants.I defy anyone not to enjoy this restaurant.I can't comment on price because I didn't see the bill.

We were a party of 30 who all had an 8 course tasting menue with wine pairing. The food was delicious, but the portions too generous for such a big menu by course 5 we were stuffed and could not do justice to the...remaining dishes. The wine pairing was interesting and good quality. Ambience is very formal, obviously aiming for Michelin stars. Convenient for Le Mans circuit you can hear the cars racing from the dining room.

this was a group dinner for 13 people to celebrate a very special occasion. we were all traveled from the country for the event. the arrangements were error-free, we had a warm welcome and were shown in a very pleasant private room. we had preselection. our menus and the restaurant very well copied with our different choices. all the courses we had were excellent, the longoustine speciality was exceptional. the kitchen is from an extremely high standard. the excellent wee supplement the eating perfectly the staff was also very pleasant, friendly and efficient and the total cost was appropriate for such a fantastic experience. we are looking forward to our next visit. I wanted to book a table for 7 guests for a birthday party in 2 weeks time. they can only book for a maximum of 6 online, so sent my inquiry through the email, as detailed on their website, 3 days later I had...heared nothing, so arranged the venue, pressed 2 for the restaurant as directed and spoke to someone who said they were not in the position to deal with restaurant reservations, but assured me that they get someone to take me back in 10 minutes to take mine. 4 hours later, and I'll wait for a call! this restaurant is obviously soou busy, it doesn't need my habit since I was now ignored twice. it will not try again and meet elsewhere. pity as I'm on site and would have been nice to go...

we use to have dinner from time to time at this auberge ; we have always been happy with our dinner so far ; this time we thought that the trend which tends to place business over cuisine became now visible here. Overall the food...was good but sometimes mean and/or unnecessarily original. As an appetizer we got a shrimp lost in a large plate (a very tiny shrimp alone, not gambas), then we asked 2 glasses of wine (my wife drink white and I prefer red) ; mine was a 28 euros glass of a wine I never saw the bottle nor the quantity (double the cc double the price : I asked for a small, I paid for a large). we had a big dinner here for 12 of us and used the private dining room. we have all decided for the 8-course tasting menu (every one on the table must have no one else.) the dining room was very nice and the...whole place is pretty nice. If you spin outside, you are a tasty bite. the personal was friendly, but maybe a little too stiff for my lust. everything was very serious, which is not really what I think is a great service. the food itself was presented fantastic, but I only felt that it was missing. not many of the 8 courses really made me think "wow that’s epic." it was a strong money even at about 100 € per person.
