food they only want to eat all the selections on the menu! cannot wait to experience the gastronomic experience again.

I wish we could stay longer. very cozy beds, spacious rooms, beautiful garden with a cool place on the river, very good restaurant, excellent service. the staff is very friendly and helpful. we want to come back.

Four of us 3 French and one English, all used to fine dining but looking for good traditional food. Delightful evening, all the French classics well executed, comfortable portions, good efficient service. Opened on Sunday night which was an enormous bonus, lots of locals always...a good sign.

Delighted to have stumbled upon this restaurant on our way to get the ferry home. Excellent four course meal with plenty of options for only 28 euros. We thought this was excellent value. The welcoming waiter provided excellent and aimiable service throughout. We will definitely...return. Thank you!

Why is our experience so different than others more valued? I can only speak as we have found, and that is that the cooking art has not reported anywhere near the standard others. it's not terrible. only so much under the standard of the...auberge itself, a beautiful building in excellent grounds. a shame. Our stay included the evening meals which were truly full of flavour, originality in presentation and a mix of different textures. The wine (as recommended) was excellent as well. The dining room is beautifully decorated and the kitchen open to view. The staff were first...class. The breakfast was equally impressive, fresh orange juice and farm fresh butter (salted or unsalted) great taste and nothing like the packaged varieties. Well done to all.

Could not resist staying here the night before our ferry. A major reason is to eat dinner. Had the 28 Euro menu selection. Fabulous choice! I had a hot seafood mix starter, a smoked pork main, then a selection of Normand cheeses. Just to finish...with a bang, the apple tart with Calvados ice cream, which looked and tasted stunning. Worth visiting France regularly just to eat and stay here going in and out of Dieppe. (20 mins to the boat). Will be back!!

We booked for two nights here because we wanted to be close to Dieppe but feel like we were out in the country since our lives in the Paris area are so hectic. It was perfect, a little haven of peace and tranquility in this...historical auberge. We stayed in room 9 on the top floor of the furthest building, which has great views over the property and the little river flowing through. It wasn't as warm as I had hoped so we only got to hang out in the chairs near the river for a short time. The room was spacious and very clean. We had dinner both nights here and each meal was truly excellent. The food is inventive and very flavourful. I will remember these meals for a long time to come, the be... Ver carta
