it was a pleasure to enjoy a lunch in frankenbourg. from the first amuse bouche to the chocolates at the dessert, this place is simply great. we enjoyed the dining room. each individual dish balances interesting aromas with extraordinary crying. it's hard. select a highlight as all dishes showed refinement and taste. in any case, they will visit again when we are around. thanks for the pleasant experience!

this restaurant is a must. although it is in a small village from the way, it is definitely worth a diversion and makes a great place to lunch after visiting haut konigsbourg. the ambiente is beautiful; that eat wonderfully and the personal. inappropriately trained. it is a Michelin star restaurant, but the price is reasonable and they had no problem replacing fish dishes for meat dishes (because we don't eat meat).

In an amiable, familial style and with a view of the Vosges mountains, the 10 plate dinner explores combinations of classical French fare with regional and international touches, sometimes with surprising effects. Sébastien Buecher, the chef, is a master in guiding the palate slightly beyond...the traditional; it is a joy to follow his ideas. Situated in what can be described as a rustic charming hotel, we went here to try their tasting menu after having heard good things about it. If one is new to michelin star restaurants, then this place offers a good value tasting menus with several...courses (without wine pairings 92 euro, with wine 126 euros) excluding the aperitif and drinks for dessert. The tasting menu was truly an experience which I can only highly recommend. T

We had lunch there on a family trip in the region. We had booked in this restaurant for its reputation in the Michelin book. You can get a very good menu for an affordable price (there is a menu in 40€ without wine). Meals are...delicate also I found they lacked a special twist. Others having lunch with me found the plates exquisite. It's a beautiful building made of wood in a small village, it's worth the stop and I would recommend this place if you look for a gastronomic meal to change from the traditional regional food. Desserts were my favorite part !

the michelin red guide is especially good at selecting restaurants avec chambres and they are always an excellent choice because their money goes to the restaurant! that said our room in the auberge frankenbourg was all you need for a night stay .comfortable, quiet, clean. the restaurant is lovely. we went for the petty gourmet menu. this is €66 per head, but €88 with accompanying weeping, but my advice is for the latter, because the additional €44 for the wee is excellent value for two, and they do not have to worry about the choice. the staff was excellent. we always give ourselves a contract about the last night of the holiday, and that was not disappointed. Well as my husband drove in to the car park we were totally like well you couldn’t say I was driving by and I stopped for a meal it is off the beaten track to say the least. But when you walk in...to what can only be said is a huge barn it is simply gorgeous... pure lines no frills no extras just simplistic deco.... and now to the serious part the reason why you are reading the review . FOOD. Well this is exquisite I went for the menu and asked them to swap in a veggie option for the meat dishes and the fish I had was cooked to perfection. The meat my hubby said was just right and we had the wine paring option and they were totally on point. This is definitely worth the detour....

The restaurant is in a very small village in the hills, around there are woods where it is possible to do some trekking. The place is very nice, it's a old house renovated with very good taste. Tables are at a good distance, so that...it is possible to have some privacy. We went for the gourmet menu, which I can only recommend. All the courses were really nice, based on local ingredients and typical dishes revisited in a high end cuisine. The service was also very good. However, the only reason why I did not give the fifth star (well deserved for the food) is that we had to struggle to get the bill and to get the waiters' attention at the end of our meal. what a wonderful recommendation from a friend of us! the restaurant frankenbourg is a clear 5/5 of us, no doubt in our understanding. first line they get a Michelin star restaurant for about 30% less as they usually have to pay. it makes a wonder whether the payment for the brand is worth all the money normally, but ok, this rating is not because: it must be said that the restaurant is in a bit of a hidden location, so there is no easy way to get there with public transport. on the other hand, what this allows is for example the restaurant with a whole side of glass, with a view of the beautiful green side of the valleys restaurant frankenbourg is in. simply beautiful with a feeling that the...
