everything was sociable and everything tasted very good. great weine to boot. we had an amazingly grilled lamb, and my friend ordered vegetarian salate, and both were up on their categories.

our visit to this rstaurant started as we were almost 30 minutes early from our booked time. cordial and very friendly staff ensured an enormous self-service buffet for beginners and a very extensive main menu. the waitress would not have done for us anymore.

On a wet night a fantastic meal out ! Buffet starter was fantastic matched only by a great main course followed by an excellent buffet style dessert. The family produced wine is a must and the family are only too happy to explain about their...products . We will visit again before returning home A gem !!

this restaurant was only 10m from our accommodation so thought 'why not'! a warm greeting from the “bass” and the last table of our broken French and the broken English of the co-workers we were treated with delicious food. a fantastic steak with 'a bit. bleed' and a selection of 12 desserts that can be washed out with their own fitou, recommend

We booked the restaurant in person a couple of days before. We booked for 7.30 pm. We arrived on time with about 50 other diners. There was a ceremony going on in the restaurant. The staff were just standing around no one apologised or...explained. Eventually at 8.15 the ceremony ended and 100 people were seated at the same time. We were shown to a inside table in an air conditioned room with the doors open all very hot. We realised quite quickly that we were not going to be served any time soon and left without eating. We were very disappointed as the restaurant was highly recommended. I don’t think we will bother to try again!

This was out third visit to this restaurant, this time just the two of us. The buffet offers something for everyone; the poached whole salmon is particularly good, as we're the stuffed mushrooms There is a good choice of main courses (if you still...have room again, something for every taste! Then there is a very good choice of puds and icecream. We had some excellent wine of the domaine. The staff are really lovely and spoke good English. The family is charming and welcoming and we were so pleased so see Grand-Pere back on the saxophone! It is a pity that other reviewers had a bad experience, maybe if they had stayed to eat they would have been more positive!

This restaurant was recommended to us by our host at a nearby guesthouse, and we're so glad we listened to her. This was an excellent choice for a family group (two adults, a tween, and a teenager) the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and...the staff were very patient with our nearly non-existent French.We opted for the buffet a wide array of choices, all sourced locally and all done just right. Standouts included the snails, the fruit, the garbanzos, the clams, the oysters, the mussels, the aioli, and the mushrooms stuffed with something delicious. And so many desserts that we had a hard time choosing! We sat outside in the garden, where the weather was perfect. All in all, it was perfect...

This place gets a good a good write up so we thought we’d try it. Went in the night before and booked a table for 7.30pm. Arrived on time only to find that the local wine club awards were going on. Half an hour later...they were still going on and there was now a massive queue of people outside the restaurant who had booked and were left waiting in 37 deg heat. Finally, we were let in 45 minutes late and were shown to our table, but not given any menus or offered any drinks. After waiting another 10 minutes we just left. Why bother to book tables out when you have no intention of letting people in as you have another function on and then can not cope with the number of people who all need to...

difficult to find when a car is parked on the drive to the restaurant, and withte september only a few other diners at place and place around 7.30, but the effort worth. the menu includes the possibility to go on their buffet table, for...either a starter or as a main course. try it! it has grilled with a whole salmon, hot moule, razor clams, oysters, huge fat garnels, several cold meats, filled mushrooms, hot pigs trotters, loads of different salates. only a joy. but that was all for beginners. for my main course I had simply the best ever cote de veau I have ever eaten and that is a bit compliment because I love a calfscrott! simply super. unfortunately my friends lamb hack was terrible fa...
