"A wonderful find in this beautiful little village The food was a joy, beautifully cooked and presented. Very helpful professional staff who explained the menu to us. Fortunately, one of our groups spoke a little French and was able to turn around with our waiter. Our decisions... wouldn't have been better. Two of us chose lobsters with different types of fresh mushrooms with a special sauce that was mouthwater. Another in our group had disguised the local speciality of the onion, which was delicious. Our desserts were also delicious, Soufflé and Crete Karamell. The wines were also well chosen. We stayed at Tilley's B and B and it was a short drive from there with good parking. Hope to return a day, but it's a long way from Australia"

"located in the centre of the village, this restaurant is part of the mill area. a large outdoor parking awaits you, as well as a parking under the hotel, where you will find easily room. the whole is held by an Alsatian family, or everyone is at the service of customers, and it feels. very good reception, impeccable service, tablecloths and services in fabrics, covered in silver, beautiful space between tables. large terrace on the river, overlooking the garden. Total change! took the menu of the day (3 courses) to € 22,50 which gave the choice between avocado/shrimp salad or country paste, pintade with small vegetables or black place net, burned cream or iced nougat. In addition, it was proposed to us three other desserts, if one or the other was not suitable, for the same price! the meal was excellent, with a mouth-watering amuse, and some fruit pasta served with coffee. really, a restaurant that deserves the detour, with a varied menu, alsatian, but not that. à la carte dishes, around € 18,-. do not hesitate to go, and even better to stay in their beautiful 3* hotel in a quiet area, with spa, swimming pool and massages, which we visited on site. Several packages are available.A 20 minutes from colmar, 20 minutes from mulhouse and 1 hour from strasburg, located 5 minutes from the exit of the highway, this restaurant/hotel really deserves to be known. You will not be disappointed, on any point. Go check."

"We were welcomed on arrival by the very friendly owner's wife. We sat outside and enjoyed our local aperitif.The service was very good and the food was excellent and copious. The 'salades estivales' were a good choice for a very hot day but the rest of the menu was varied and tempting with many specialities from the region cooked from locally sourced products. Highly recommended."

"My plate of the sea, controlled without salmon because I don't like it, arrived with salmon....the sauce fruit of passion there were very few... the fish it was eatable but without, it was dry....The rest of the guests had really very good dishes on the other hand.Cotty service did not fast either, waitress run but the kitchen did not seem to follow. So for me it wasn't terrible as the first time."

"En visite à l'écomusée, nous avons déjeuné à La Taverne et c'est un sans faute. L'accueil et l'ensemble du personnel sont très sympathiques et efficaces. Pas de délai d'attente interminable pour être installé et servi. Il y a une belle et grande salle ainsi qu'une très agréable terrasse ombragée. Les deux sont très agréables. La carte et les menus proposent bien évidemment des plats Alsaciens et les prix sont très serrés. Dans le menu à 25.00 €, vous avez une entrée, un plat (souris d'agneau !) et un dessert. Il y a également d'excellentes tartes flambées, généreusement servies. Les vins et bières sont également très bien placés en prix. La taverne est également accessible sans passer par l'Ecomusée. On peut donc venir se restaurer uniquement à La Taverne et il y a même un hôtel pour prolonger le séjour. En résumé, un très agréable moment !"
