Babbo - Carta

On my seventieth birthday I was treated to a fabulous meal at this wonderful restaurant where the food and service were second to none. The staff were delightful and even sang happy birthday to me which was well appreciated. A return is a must for...the fantastic veal masala

All I can say about this restaurant is wow wow wow wow wow. From the moment you walk in you are treated like royalty. Friendly, knowledgeable staff can't do more for you. There is no hurry when selecting what you want to order. The food...itself is very tasty and they don't skimp on portion sizes. Everything is made to order and very fresh.

First time trying Banco although I drive past it about times a day! I always see the owner (or manager) outside tending to the property so I figured it must be very well maintained. Ordered a takeaway last minute and it was lovely. We...had the margarita pizza, spaghetti bolognaise and tiramisu. It was all really fresh and tasty. The girl who took my order was very friendly too. Ate here this evening October) with my partner. We had a lovely meal. I had mozzarella fritters which were great! really big strips so I could only eat It came with garlic dip which was a bit strange but was still nice....Then I had chicken in chilli/tomato sauce can’t remember the name) but was delicious very spicy tho be warned. Staff where really attentive and friendly. Lovely decor, Definitely would come back .

We visited Banco on Saturday October for dinner excellent, staff are so nice and friendly and one member of staff remembered us and it must be nearly a year since we last visited (we no longer live in Glasgow and probably eat...in Banco two to three times a year but not been for ages due to these unnecessary lockdowns) food was superb too, overall, very good. Staff treating us like they did draws us back time and time again.

I’d heard the food here was good but it certainly surpassed my high expectations. Six of us dined as a family and each of us had superb food. My own Ragu (a house speciality) was excellent, with a generous portion of the most succulent beef....We had a wide variety of dishes from the menu, all of which could be described in the same glowing terms. We were looked after by lovely people who were very attentive without being in any way intrusive. Ver carta

I first tried the carry out service from here during lockdown and found the food and service excellent so we vowed to try the restaurant when things opened up. Well it did not disappoint. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The al a...carte menu had an excellent range of choices and the dishes we chose were all very tasty and well presented. Portion size was also good so much so none had room left for a sweet. The tables were well spaced out for social distancing creating a comfortable environment. Safe to say it is now one of my favourite restaurants in the area.

Love this place. Been here a few times with the most recent being a lunch on Sunday August. Party of seated in a booth in the main bar area next to the entrance. we had the Anitpasti Banco, olives and Bread Oil...to share as a starter. I ordered the Carbonara Romano which was absolutely delicious (I am extremely picky with carbonara). The other guests had Chicken Milanese and Veal Marsala with side dishes each. Very well presented and piping hot. Good atmosphere and great service. Large portion sizes too I din't eat again until Monday lunchtime!! I look forward to my next visit.

Last minute booking with family to celebrate my sons birthday I really couldn’t have asked for more. This was an exceptional restaurant experience. The first thing that attracted us was the images in the gallery on the website and it looks even...better in the flesh. Beautifully decorated and with a great ambiance I didn’t want to leave. The staff were helpful, attentive and friendly. Bringing a cake with us and asking if they could light some candles and bring it to the table was no trouble at all and were happy to join in with the singing.
