"we went to this restaurant by sheer chance whilst on a short break in Gummersbach. Right from the word go when entering the restaurant we we were greeted by friendly, helpful staff. We only ordered pizzas and house wine ( which tasted better then some bottled wines I have ordered in the past) but weren't treated any less than if we had ordered a 3 course steak dinner. The pizzas were excellent and we were even given a free grappa at the end of the meal. Would I eat here again? Absolutely! Just try and stop me! Well done guys!"

"Really nice thais (and a bit Chinese) restaurant. You have the menu in (a bit funny) English. Very nice hostess, food is amazing, really good thai food. Homamade sambal, which is brilliant. It's a baked Sambal if I'm not mistaken. Really faster service as usual in Germany, so if you are looking for slow service for a while"

"Very idyllic on a side street. Great ambience, very nice accommodating service. You should go there with a lot of hunger as the portions are relatively large and yet very appetizing. Everything very fresh and right on the point. What I felt to be very pleasant was that the main basics were vegetarian and one could combine the animal supplement. So vegetarians need to choose not only from the appetizers or the salads offered. Up! We were for the first time, but certainly not for the last time in TUK TUK. Clear recommendation."

"Wer sich im Raum Gummersbach befindet, der sollte einmal das Holsteiner Fährhaus besuchen. Dieses Restaurant ist fast ein Maritimes Museum. Mit viel Libe wurde vom Eigentümer alles was mit Seefahrt zu tun hat zusammen getragen. Auf verschiedenen Ebenen findet man über Taucherhelme, Schiffchen, Schiffsglocken alles Erdenkliche und zum Teil auch Skuriles. Das Restaurant ist für hervorragende Steaks bekannt, die in einer offenen Küche am Eingangsbereich zubereitet werden. Aber es gibt auch eine große Auswahl an anderen Gerichten. Wenn wir hierhin zum Essen fahren, nehmen wir meist das Schweinefilet Menü . Dabei wird ein grosses Stück Schweine Filet im ganzen gebraten und dies ist super zart. Dazu werden die dickeren Amerikanischen Pommes gereicht und eine riesige Schale Salat. Bevor das Essen kommt, erhält man eine grosse Tasse Suppe. Dieses Lokal ist auch für Familien gut geeignet, weil die Kinder von dem Inneren des Hauses fasziniert sind."

"I have been here by usa and my friend for three months and I often go to this cozy caffeine. eating was always excellent, the service always very friendly and courteous. today we were there to warm up, it was bitterly cold outside and I came from the sunny arizona. we had only one suppe that was excellent (cremige tomaten and creamy kartoffel suppe) a hot spiced latte and saw the hot chocolate with. we were in the seventh heaven and can recommend this place with cheerful hearts"
