"We had an early dinner in this small Indian restaurant in Wengen. You do need to book unless you get lucky and this was our second attempt at eating here. I asked if they could recommend a dish with the same spiciness as a Korma, as they didn't have that on their menu. They made me on especially, and it was one of the best I've ever had. My family are braver than me and had spicier meals and enjoyed theirs too. We would all recommend persisting to eat here while in Wengen."

"We visited as a family in August. The restaurant is on the a nice path going out of the village. It was full by the time we arrived but they managed to accommodate us about 10 minutes later, which was very nice. But then the...unthinkable happened: my elderly (80 year old) mother wanted to join us at the table and failing to realize she was with our party, despite the fact that we said we were a party of 5 and only 4 at the table, the owner was extremely rude to her. She is an oncology patient and still needs to wear a mask and when she tried to explain she was with us, she was yelled at by the owner that she couldn't and that he couldn't understand anything with the mask on. I have never seen anyone so rude in the hospitality industry. It is totally unacceptable (even if he thought he was right, which he was not -he just did not understand we were together) to treat an elderly person like this with such disrespect. So I have to echo other reviews that mention the rudeness of the owner and it was a big let down nearly ruining the day. The food was ok but nothing spectacular."

"Wir waren im September für 3 Nächte im Hotel Silberhorn. Wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Haben 2 mal im Restaurant gegessen. Der Service sehr nett und kompetent. Das Essen sehr gut und schön Angerichtet. Frühstück mit genug Auswahl und sehr gutem frischem Brot. Trotz Corona sind die Massnahmen eingehalten worden und wir haben uns auch dann wohl gefühlt. Der Ausblick vom Balkon war sensationell. Die Lage perfekt zur Bahn und auch sonst ruhig und doch zentral. Wir können nur gutes sagen und würden dies weiter empfehlen. "I just have to give it one star. The owner or hotel manager is only interested in money, she doesn't care about the guests. We were there in the summer for a weekend with a small dog. At first her staff said that the little puppy didn't cost anything, but after a nice conversation over dinner in her restaurant, the boss actually charged it afterwards. And that at 250 CHF for one night and even though we even ate in their hotel. On the second night, there were party guests in the next room who were under the influence of drugs. After 3 hours of rioting until 2 a.m., the hotel manager kept saying the guests would be thrown out, but that didn't happen because of course they were paying guests. As compensation we got the dog costs back and a bottle of their house wine which, according to the internet, costs 2 CHF. Never again, I cannot and will not recommend it to anyone."

"Very good price performance ratio. My son and I had bratwurst with hash browns. And a green salad first. Everything tasted good and the quantity was good after all, we had a long walk behind us. The service was also very nice. Again any time."
