Well presented restaurant and friendly service. Good coffee. Had a sharing board which was very nice. Only reason not full marks is the service charge added on even when paying up front for something, doesn’t feel quite right.

Stayed on the site for a weekend with friends and through a recommendation we decided to visit the restaurant. We were not disappointed the food and staff are amazing and though fairly expensive, it was worth the money. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others staying on the site.

Ate here on a Saturday night, booked in for 8pm and it was bustling. The staff were all very attentive and nice. Eight plates out of seven were good although one pasta dish was floating in oil and couldn’t be finished. Response to the feedback was underwhelming I’m afraid. Overall worth a visit if you’re staying on the site and don’t fancy cooking one night.

We were thoroughly impressed by Balihoo restaurant, with its delicious food and exceptional, friendly service from the amazing Annie and her team! The menu offers a wide range of dishes, from classic favorites to inventive creations. Annie went above and beyond to accommodate our party of 8 with a last-minute booking. The warm welcome, delicious food, and attentive service from the entire team truly enhanced our holiday experience. Thank you to everyone at Balihoo!

The staff at this restaurant were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We were given the option to dine indoors or outdoors, both of which were stylish and relaxed. The menu had a variety of options, including ones for vegetarians and vegans. Chef Matt went above and beyond by customizing a main course for a family member and even adding a new dessert for some of us. We were extremely impressed with the level of service we received and will definitely be returning for breakfast and lunch as well.

Absolutely fantastic food, location, atmosphere and staff! Could not fault it! We had dinner on a Saturday night which was delicious and a great buzz in the restaurant! Drinks are expensive but food is good value for the taste and portion size. We also Had Sunday lunch here with friends a party of 8, the roasts were incredible really fresh, huge portions, rare roast beef with a lovely selection of vegetables a real treat! The staff could not have been better, they were so attentive and friendly with amazing service! You made our break thank you so much

We absolutely loved The Ballihoo - the food and service were outstanding. We arrived last Saturday in the pouring rain, but the staff, especially Sarah and Sally, made us feel so welcome. The salmon dish we had was incredibly delicious, and we even wanted to meet the Chef (Paul) to congratulate him. The staff at the restaurant are all lovely, friendly, and welcoming, making sure that nothing is too much trouble. We also enjoyed breakfast there on two occasions, which was excellent. The only thing that bothered us was being charged for butter by portion, which we found a bit cheeky. Otherwise, keep up the great work, and we look forward to seeing you all again next year.

Came here whilst staying on the estate, for lunch. Party of 9 booked for one o'clock Ordered drinks which are not cheap Expect to pay £6.95 for a pint of Estrella and about £32 for a bottle of red wine Ordered various starters and three children's meals to arrive at the same time . Starters were of a reasonable standard Then waited an hour and five minutes for adult main courses to arrive. Wrong main course was sent to me , Ordered cod and was given a pork chop! Agreed to have the pork chopped provided I wasn't charged. Pork chops were cold! Other main courses were hot! Ordered childrens ice creams and three cocktails. We were a group of five ladies staying at one of the cottages on the estate. We ate outside at Ballihoo for lunch on a very sunny Saturday in October 2023. We had the sharing platter and a side of fries between us. Very tasty mix of breads, hummus, spicy sausage, olives, dipping oil etc. We all thought it was good quality and enough to act as a light lunch for us all. The waitress was particularly helpful and considerate sorting out a slight mixup with our drinks efficiently and without fuss. We then decided to pick up dinner from there that evening and have it as a takeaway.
