Come here every week and have continuos great service by John, he makes the most amazing cocktails and you can tell he's just so passionate about his job!

Great atmosphere for an after work drink. Happy hour deals are excellent, a bottle of wine is just over £10. The fries are killer, thick and cooked to perfection. Will be back!

Came here for drinks just they re-opened after the refurbishment. Before I found this Ball Brothers to be dark and dingy. Now it is light, bright and stylish. Good selection of wines, and excellent service. What's not to like. Ver carta

Very traditional atmosphere and cozy design. Really friendly and helpful service. Amazing price on happy ours!!! Perfect place to take a lunch break or meet someone for a dinner. Plenty selection of wine. Cocktail sausages are the best in the city, I swear.

I have been going to this venue for many years and it has always been good but now after the full internal refurbishment I believe it is a great venue in the city for ambiance, food and service. And more importantly great selection of wines. All in all good value for money. Highly recommended.

Came here for after work drinks and nibbles with my co workers. Can say we all left the new refurbished Venue with a smile on our faces. The sharing boards and gin summer cocktails are definitely something i would recomended. I don't usually leave reviews as they are time consuming but I was so pleasantly surprised by John's cocktails I have to mention it here so that other readers looking for ideas on where to try the best cocktails may try Balls Brother at Mark Lane to see how good the food and the drinks are, especially the drinks. Ask for John and get him to mix you a drink, I honestly think he can mix up anything that matches your mood. Well done to the team there.

There is an enormous choice of lunch venues in this area of the City, however I would certainly rate the newly refurbished Balls Brothers in Mark Lane as one of the most pleasant. My friend and I received friendly and personal service from the moment we arrived even though it was very busy and most tables were occupied. Our food was excellent, hot and well presented and the recommended bottle of wine by the waitress was most enjoyable and very reasonable. I shall look forward to returning ........

I have lunch here once a month during work, we usually take our insurers to have a few sandwiches and bottles of wine. We usually book a room as it a lot quieter than the main area... The service is always amazing, but we do sometimes get forgotten about because we are in a room, but a few waves to the bar staff through the window and they are always happy to help. The sandwiches are lovely, and exactly what you need just for lunch, and we always have a few bottles of the pinot white wine and it is lovely. Staff are lovely always very helpful. Great venue for lunch. Ver carta
