The food was nice. Service was a little slow. Overall it was pleasant

dreadful pub. not quite family-friendly. if they have children, they stay well away.

Underwhelming food and overpriced drinks when good atmosphere and service. My answer to friends was simple, Try the Victoria . Lamb kofta was simply peeled lamb. Tasteless. Pork belly just not boiled well. My wife left half of it. Large glass Pinot Grigio £8.20. I'm done with Gastro-Pubs....

I always drove past this pub and wanted to visit. Had a drink to start in the cozy bar area (the atmosphere is nice) and then went to the restaurant for our lunch booking. Was met by friendly and professional staff who welcomed and set us. Very attentive waitress. Nice food with a variety of options. My only criticism would be that there is not enough gluten-free variety, but the salad and the chips I had were delicious! Nice to see a separate vegan menu and even better know that there is a great cocktail choice. Would definitely come back and have already recommended friends and family!

dined here on boxing day 2010 and experienced problems with food quality. dined here again on boxing day 2011. we ordered the set menu at a fixed price as advertised, in november. on December 26th, we searched for the option of the 2 or 3 course menu, as ordered in november, we were told that it did not exist and that we were mistaken! further investigations of the (new) manager discovered the Christmas leaf and proved that we are not mistaken. she went to the kitchen and returned later to inform us that the menu had been removed due to insufficient intake and that the money would lose.
