"Fantastic place to eat in all respects. Don’t go expecting Pattaks or shop bought paste curry, this is the real deal! Served from a small container ship by a family business set in a lovely bay. Remember to buy mango chutney to go with your fantastic food. The sometimes lengthy wait for your food is a testament to how good it is. I was reading some of the negative reviews on here and it’s clear these people don’t get out much and should stick to there fish and chips."

The best sandy beach on the low tide, the finest beach in the area, and the most amazing rock pools make this place special. They truly deserve rave reviews for their evening curries, but the ciabattas they serve throughout the day are equally fantastic. Ver carta

The food is fantastic and the view is breathtaking. At 5 PM, a bell rings to announce that the Sri Lankan curry is ready, and a line quickly forms. Bring a blanket and a bottle of your favorite beverage to enjoy the sunset while savoring some delicious food. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner.

Curry starts around 4:50 and is delicious. They have a meat option and a vegetarian option and it is £13.50. Used to be cash only but now they take card. Beach is lovely. "my new man and I thought for a bite to eat on Thursday, 11 May, we had traveled from padstow and had stopped on a row of places that were looking for somewhere nice to midday, we had found places that were empty, places without atmosphere, and places that were closed. but when we went to miss feas cafe, we realized that we had found a brand new, wonderful jewel. the service was great, eating was delicious and a real tasty bite (I don't think I ever tasted a better egg mayonnaise baguette in my life, and the creamtee was for fresh bread, fresh eggs, fresh scene to die) and the decoration of the caffe was stunning. thank you for making what seemed like a never-ending hunting after a nice caffe, transforming into a journey of fate. we already look at the smugglers rest as we want to visit them, and mortehoe again very soon."

"We dined here three years ago and concluded it was the best roast we've ever had. Returning felt like a gamble, as our expectations were sky-high, and we feared it might not meet those standards. However, we were once again amazed by the Sunday roast. It's truly outstanding. The meal features tender meat, perfectly roasted potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and a remarkable selection of eight different vegetables. The carrots are absolutely incredible, and the cauliflower cheese is exquisite. I couldn't recommend this place more highly!"

"Really great food that's a bit different. It's bar food and pizzas but it's done well and it's a good price. Been here a few times and it's always been good. They do have vegan and veggie options if that's your thing too and a good selection of drinks. Outside seating fills up fast on a sunny evening but there's plenty of seating indoors too Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegetarian options that are just as good as the meat based ones. Also vegan options"

"An absolutely amazing meal, the food and service was exceptional, best meal we’ve had in a while! A hidden gem in Woolacombe run by two lovely people, who offer very good value, fresh food and a lovely warm welcome. Catering for gluten free and dog friendly made this a must visit for us and we were not disappointed! Dishes can be adapted to gluten free, as everything is cooked from scratch. I highly recommend if you’re in Woolacombe 5 stars We will definitely be back and recommending to friends."

"This was the first time that we have dined at The Rock Restaurant, although we have stayed in Woolacombe on many occasions. It was everything that we expected and more. The attentive staff ensured that we had a great evening out. The service was excellent as was the quality of the food and the presentation. We had the Beetroot and Celeriac and Haddock Risotto as starters and both were full of flavour and faultless. For our main courses we had the Venison and Stone Bass and again they could not have been improved, the flavours and accompaniments were perfect. The Viognier that we selected from the decent wine list was a great choice. For desserts we had the Strawberry Trifle and Lemon Curd Cheesecake both of which were delicious. Although it was a wet evening it was great sitting with those views over Combesgate Beach and out to sea. That was the icing on the cake after the superb food, lovely wine and great service."
