Bay - Carta

Had burger and chips and fish and chips. Burger overdone and fish overdone. Had 1 drink, did not stay for desert. Might be good for breakfast. Service great.

Had breakfast and it was a great experience. the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was great. Little on the pricey side but happy to pay when food is good

Absolutely the nicest spot along the water for a fantastic dinner. Menu items were so tasty just could not decide. The dessert with Strawberries and rubbarb was awesome! Ver carta

Extremely delicious food served by friendly staff in a pretty setting. Loved it. Great to see lots of veggie options too. had the superfood salad and it was yum. The other three all had different things and everyone loved their food. Great stuff. ;

I have been here for lunch a few times and never had a bad meal. Last week we ate there again and I just had a starter and a glass of wine while my friend had a starter and a dessert. We had not booked but got a table. The place was busy and the service was friendly. I hope to be back again.

We've been dining at Bay for years, it's not 20yrs in Business for nothing. Its consistently on the money every time. Staff, food, atmosphere, wine selection price. The only thing I can say is that I miss some of the great staff they've had over the years, that said, they have always had still so have super staff!! We went for dinner last night and we were seated at a table right beside the toilets. When a table for 2 became available we asked to be moved and were told it was not possible as it was a full house. The table we asked to be moved to remained unoccupied for the duration of our meal. Other couples came in and were seated at free tables away from the toilets after us. No effort was made to accommodate us. We are local and frequently eat here. Will not be returning. Food was only ok. A very unpleasant experience and would not recommend this restaurant.

My friend and I arrived with no booking and were promptly given a window seat by our waitress in what was already a busy restaurant. There were only 2 waiting staff from what I could see, but they were exceptional. No mistakes, speedy delivery of food, and both had a fabulously friendly temperament. The food was AMAZING. Beautiful spicy prawn and monkfish starter and then we had the steak. Both my friend and I asked for rare steaks and it was cooked to absolute perfection. We followed it up with some pudding and tea, sang happy birthday to one of the other guests and left in a taxi ordered by our wonderful waitress. Went here as was interested in their Gluten free options and also intrigued by their healthy choices and we were not disappointed. On arrival it was bustling and full with a steady flow of customers from couples , families and all ages. The service was good and friendly. The food was great just what we were looking for as so few restaurants offer healthy choices and they also tell you of the calorie value of each dish which is great if you are trying to eat healthier. There is a great choice for breakfast or brunch and the we went for the Moroccan Kofta and poached eggs with Gluten free bread, it was simple but the blend of spicing just gorgeous and such a lovely change to the usual fry up a...
