New restaurant was excellent. Very nice staff, interesting food, great decor. Will go there again and again.

it was a very nice experience. salve and excellent food and service. remain there if they can or stop for a meal; either they will not be disappointed.

The restaurant has changed names from The Bay Horse to Pub Kitchen. Unfortunately, the food isn't great and there's definitely room for improvement. Only time will tell if things will get better.

Great place to stay staff are so lovely especially the manager she will go out of her way to help you and make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible..her husband is a real friendly guy also willing to help with anything thankyou.

We spent a night at the hotel and dined there for dinner, enjoyed drinks at the bar, and had breakfast as well. The chalet room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were absolutely wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would definitely consider staying there again! Ver carta

Dreadful. Previously phoned the hotel we were told that breakfast could be ordered on arrival as there was a restaurant available at the hotel. When we arrived we were told that the chef had left so no restaurant service and they were hoping for a replacement next week, no one advised us of the change of circumstances We were then asked to pay in full. However my bank statement shows I had paid in full a month ago. We returned home directly without staying. We are very disappointed with no break and to have wasted time and money on a 270mile round trip.

We first requested Chardonnay, only to be told it was unavailable. We then asked for Prosecco, which was also unavailable. Finally, we inquired about the house white and were given a sample, but the server never returned, which was amusing but frustrating. This is, after all, supposed to be a restaurant. We ordered steak, which was cooked perfectly and was a nice cut. The surf and turf kebab skewers, however, arrived without the skewers, which was puzzling. With a little more attention and some staff training, this restaurant could greatly improve. I wonder if management has given up or if it has recently changed hands. Came here with my partner. The room itself was spacious and warm. The bathroom was basic but also had plenty of room. The bed was big but could feel the springs. The shower was a bit iffy as if you moved it off the number it was set at youd only get very cold water from it.. but I worked with it as best I could. This is a no frills hotel ie they don't serve food on site currently and the room just has tv, kettle/ tea coffee. The furniture was decent. Though the cushions on the bed had stains. The most amazing thing were the bath towels which were very comfortable. I didn't notice anywhere v close by serving food except a chinese takeaway maybe a mile down the road from it so id advise taking... Ver carta
