Fantastic restaurant with delicious food, staff who are extremely friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended, definitely the top Indian restaurant in Livingstone.

Ordered the prawn curry but I wasn’t keen on the prawns, I felt they were over cooked and tasted rubbery which put me off, also sauce was a bit too runny for me. I will go back to my usual place which is The Dine in Broxburn.

Best takeaway indian restaurant in the area. Always get the same dish. Lamb rogan josh with egg fried rice. Rice is a game changer and what they recommended. Nice staff too. They are very welcoming. The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and they offer a great selection of curry dishes. I dined in for dinner and the price per person is around £20-30. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a rating of 5. I highly recommend trying the Butter Chicken, Lamb Punjabi Handi, and Chicken Biryani.

Ordered a takeaway was told it would take between 45mins 1 hour. It actually took 1 1/2 hours and when I phoned to complain I was shrugged off by the female staff member also the popadoms were just a bag of crumbs because the driver obviously didn’t take care of the order. We had a fantastic meal here last week. It was our first time dining at this restaurant, but we would definitely recommend it. The service was excellent, the menu had a wide variety of options, and the quality of the food was outstanding. It cost between £20-£30 per person to dine here. We rated the service a 5 out of 5, the food a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5.

I have been a loyal and satisfied customer of The Bay Leaf in Pumpherston for years, but my recent takeaway experience was extremely disappointing. The food was cold and chewy, and it took the restaurant a week to offer me a 50% discount on my next meal. This level of customer service was unacceptable, and I have decided not to return as a customer. Overall, I would rate their takeout service and food quality as 1 out of 5.

Avoid this place at all costs. I am extremely disappointed with my experience here - it's the worst Indian food I've had in years. You could get a better curry from a microwave meal at Tesco. The Karahi lamb was tasteless with a thin layer of oil on top instead of a rich curry sauce. The butter chicken was bland and sour, while the chicken jalfrezi tasted like watery tomato soup. When we called to complain, we were brushed off and made to feel like we were lying because these dishes are apparently popular. In short, our feedback was not taken well and I've wasted £60 on inedible food. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere for your curry fix. Ver carta
