Bayview - Carta

We sat in this restaurant at the end of a beautiful day in sunny Scarborough! We enjoyed hot drinks, and the flat white was just what we needed. The staff were efficient and pleasant.

Just popped in for a quick bite to eat we had the dog and needed to get out of the sun. Food was really nice, omelette pannini bacon bap pot of T 4 2 homemade coleslaw was beautiful, we enjoyed it. Fair pricing and nice quality, nothing really to complain about.

Two large Cappuccinos, not really large. Only one shot per cup so very weak. Too much milk and also had loads of coffee grounds in cup. Luke warm when asked for extra hot. Not impressed so won't be back. Shame could be so much better especially as they say they are a coffee house. Ver carta

Had a lovely little breakfast here with the other half yesterday morning. Beautiful location overlooking the beach and harbour. The staff were all so lovely and friendly and more than happy to cater to our needs given the restrictions in place. Great value for money and speedy service with great food! Highly recommend! X

While on a short break in Scarborough, I've been searching for good Flat White. I went to multiple cafes, and all have been shocking until I found Bayview. Staff were friendly, and the flat white was done right. Best coffee in Scarborough is an understatement, more like one of the only places that knows how to make coffee in Scarborough!

The Bayview is a little gem on the seafront. The food and drinks were very well priced. The food itself was excellent. Excellent presentation, portion size and food in general. The variety on offer was also great something for everyone. You can tell they care about what they do and take pride in doing so. Overall I was very satisfied with everything here. Ver carta

This charming restaurant offers a variety of light lunch options, cakes, ice cream, and coffee. It's hard to come across a nice coffee shop or ice cream parlor on seafronts dominated by fish and chip shops. This refreshing change allowed us to play on the beach with the children while savoring a delicious vanilla latte. The prices were reasonable and the experience was definitely worth it.

I am writing this review on behalf of my parents, who had a negative experience at this restaurant. Firstly, the waiter Howard was extremely rude and lacked basic people skills. When my mum requested a toastie, Howard responded rudely saying it was not ready yet. Additionally, Howard made inappropriate comments about my dad's coat. My uncle found a hair in his scone, and Howard did not handle the complaint properly. They also only received one scone instead of the two they ordered, and Howard had the audacity to ask if they wanted the second scone removed from the bill. This place honestly, what a delight and always a pleasure. Whenever we visit Scarborough we always pop here for a coffee and food as the vibe is just highly satisfying. Although covid 19 restrictions have played a massive part in shop operations lately , the BayView are one coffee shop that have risen to the challenge to create the best vibe possible. The measures are in place (clear, concise, simple) just some customers choose to ignore their systems they have implemented which is in no way the shops fault. We visited here 3-4 times throughout our visit ranging from drinking coffee and having food. The lady who I can only assume is the manageress is honestly the nicest person we have met in... Ver carta
